Miss this era when Kpop was barely popular at the time and if you knew someone that also liked Kpop you instantly became friends and it didn’t matter your fandom because it was odd to find someone who liked the same genre of music as you. Even though I listen to these beautiful songs almost every day, love the 2nd generation. I feel so sad that I missed their golden era because I am a new K-pop stan and now most of them are inactive. This era was when I should enter the world of K-pop... That mysterious and dark feeling of the songs, the quality music, the style, everything is AMAZING. It is just so annoying that now these legends and their success, are almost ignored by new fans. This is a great playlist! You can tell just because FICTION is the first song♥

I got into kpop late 2012 and it was the last round/near the end of 2nd gen. Although new groups were debuting by the 100s at the end of that year, I first looked towards the start of 2nd gen groups, such as Girls Generation, Suju, Kara, etc. and was amazed. I watched Star Golden Bell, Strong Heart, and it introduced me to other 2nd gen groups. Although I still do listen to the current trends, I tend to go back to these songs for comfort. I haven't listened to a couple of these on a regular basis, or never really heard them at all, but the components of them give such a nostalgic feeling that brings me back. The choreography and the songs of this era are so iconic. This new era is a hit or miss when it comes to choreography, the musicality is evolving to the point that it's the only memorable thing out of the whole package.

I've only been into K-POP for about a year, but I just love the old songs. If I would have been a bit older I probably would have started liking K-pop back then, but I was 5 in 2009 so yeah XD Nowadays it's all so american and this craziness and mysterious sounds (which I love) are lost. And (I'm sorry army, I'm an army too but this is true) people call themselves kpop fans, then you ask them something about like idk Super Junior and they would not know who that is, they'd answer I only like BTS. People who know the oldie songs and new songs are the people who should call themselves Kpop fans. It's just a loss of respect. I'm sorry, but that's my opinion and nothing will change it
@tropicality5035 жыл бұрын
Izzy Chan American culture music has always influenced, but I do respect your point towards classifying one as a “kpopfan.” Just because you know BTS doesn’t mean anything. Call yourself a “BTS fan,” don’t disrespect kpop by classifying BTS as the only one! Good point :)

@ParkDongJun5 жыл бұрын
did u know CB Mass, Papaya, 5tion, sechkiss, s.h.e, dynamic duo, SG wannabe, etc? knowing old kpop groups doesn't make you're a superior or real kpop fans. all you need to be a kpop fan is just liking kpop itself.
@guadalupe1220955 жыл бұрын
I feel that some people are taking your opinion about being a kpop fan the wrong way but I agree with you. It's like saying I'm a fan of the Avengers but then saying I only like Iron Man or Captain America. In that case I'm not actually a fan of the Avengers but of just one member. That's how I feel when people say they're kpop fans but only know of one group. There is nothing wrong with liking one group above the rest. As someone who likes many groups, when I hear someone say they're a kpop fan I would want to be able to talk about various things about kpop. This is just my way of thinking about it
