Like you, I really enjoy my folding hunters. Nice pal camp knife. For the last 22 years, I too suffer from joint pain issues due rheumatoid arthritis and connective tissue disease caused by a very rare form of Lupus. However, life goes on and I am thankful that God is always with me and enables me to endure!

Good morning Red, always happy to see one of your videos pop up. I’m helping out around the neighborhood today, helping out a elderly couple who can’t get around anymore, I do their leaves and grass for them, and there’s plenty of leaves.😂 Yes sir, Dawn and Mothers polish have kept my knives looking like new, good enough for my Camaro then it’s good enough for my knives. @ Correct Jim, I was talking about the Mothers polish, I would never wash my cars with dish soap. I’m actually a custom painter and have seen the damage over time, it removes clear coat, it can take a while but it will eventually break it down. Have a great day my friend.👍🇨🇦🇺🇸🙏

My kind of knives! Probably makes up the meat of my collection, just love the early stuff. Pal Blade Co. changed to Pal Cutlery in 1945 and pretty sure yours definitely be first stamping in 45.

Thanks for sharing HT ! First thing I use BB BLASTER . Work it a little . Let set for couple hours ….Been goin through handful of knives I haven’t touched for a while . Once 30 ish years ago when I first opened a camillus military camp style - spring broke. So after I use bb blaster , I use machine bearing oil ( Bought at Granger zoom applicator .. use it for the bearings in my furnace blower fan - cheap )( what ? You all don’t oil your motor ? Not all of them have sealed bearings) 2 drops a year (each end ).) After machine oil on the knives then I MAY USE. A variety of other more expensive lube . Or not ,, on a heavy duty user EDC ON HIP I would drop in a drop of Fluid film ( 1000 and one uses ) I used fluid film in the elevator maint trade for 15 20 years ! It loved air cord , small slow moving chains . Used it on cables for bikes - outdoor equipment that had cable control.. you get tired of changing cables ? With new equipment I never had to change cables on my own ‘stuff from above ,, some of which stayed outside ( but protected from rain). HECK I EVEN USED IT ON MY RED WINGS ( for over 10 years )( it would soften sheaths TOO much though ) Ok too much coffee ramble ramble.

So true bout budget knives my dad carried a frontier med stockman for 40 plus yrs and it did everything cut twine n feed sacks everyday still usable knife. Cool knives I like that pal very cool brother

Thank you for always sharing Abby with me. It’s funny. I’m trying to catch up on your videos that I’ve missed. I seen one of your new ones that mentioned something about a toothache and it’s funny because I’m dealing with I had to go to the emergency room Thanksgiving day morning, and I had an infection in my teeth in my gums and it went to my neck to my sinusesand I’m getting this like rotting animal smell when I breathe in so I don’t know. Those Imperials were a boys dream, I bought Imperial knives from the Ben Franklin store it was what we called five and dime stores , I saved my nickels and Pennie’s and bought them for 50 cents each and I always had a Imperial knife in my pocket even when in school I was 9 -15 years old buying Imperial knives and when I turned 15 in 1963 I splurged and bought a used Schrade Walden yellow handled trapper from a guy I worked with for five dollars , that was a fantastic kid . I no longer have that trapper but I do have one I picked up at a gun show just like it that is razor sharp and still one of my favorite knives and I know where there is one at a friends pawn shop he wants sixty five for but he has made me some great deals on knives and I suspect if I offered him a twenty for it he would smile and take it and probably quadruple his money, these are both very neat I like them both and I seldom see a camp knife around me but they are pretty cool
