@@IrmaGabber In the early 90's Harcore (gabber) became a mainstream subculture under the youth in NL. It even ended up on MTV and such channels. What started out as an underground music genre ended up in the masses. The masses didn't always fully understand the scene or found it plainly stupid. Some comedians started to make fun of Hardcore by making Hardcore music and shooting video's with the stereotype gabber look. De Mosselman and Hakkuhbar are the most known examples of it. It became popular under children and gave Happy Hardcore a major boost, but the old gabber didn't like that their "thing" was been taken away from them and ridiculed as well. So the "real' gabber let their hair grow back and ditched their Nike's and Aussie's and by the end of the 90's it wasn't sure if Hardcore and gabbers would survive as a subgenre. Because of this, I can spot funny things like this, because most don't know these kind of details (unless you grew up in the 90's and were interested in Hardcore). There are also a couple gabber docu's on youtube, were some gabbers tell their experience about this. Anno 2023, I'm glad to say that Hardcore and gabber survived and I believe that we currently seeing Hardcore being an accepted music genre in the mainstream world wide (Instead of just NL and some other pockets in Europe), because people finally are getting bored of HipHop/Rap and Techno is shifting towards the old-school hardcore bass and tempo. ps. Parody or not, if it was available on vinyl I would by it: Hakkûhbar - Gabbersaurus. Not everything they made was shit. And I believe the producer of Hakkuhbar (Ruben van der Meer) even said they never wanted to kill the Hardcore scene. He did it out respect and because he liked it, but he just thought it was fun to make parodies from it.

@@eXuo Yes, of course I didn't know that I didn't grow up in the 90s, I didn't find this culture, and I don't know many of these little things And I inserted this track because I like its sound, and I saw the clip, but I didn't know that it was some kind of parody of the gabber genre itself Thank you very much for the information

@@IrmaGabber Yeah, assumed as much, also because of your last name ;).Don't worry if certain songs are parodies or not (I'm not even sure if Mosselman is a parody or was just a cheap way to make money, but 'Hakkuhbar - Daar Heb Je Gabbertje' definitely was a parody and gave birth to Mosselman. Play and mix whatever you want. You're the DJ (and most younger people, including Dutch, don't know this either).

​@@eXuo also about the underground in my country, people are not so detached from rave culture, but not many people like hardcore, and gabber is absolutely a few but, in my city, we regularly have parties for 50-70 people, where we listen to our favorite music, dance, some people drink, there are either no junkies, or we don't see them And I'm glad that in fact only those who really need it know about it, we don't earn any money from it, and the organizers often can't cover the costs with ticket prices, but the parties live and live because we really love them
