I'm so happy you decided to do a wardrobe tour again, i absolutely love your style! One day i'd love to have a wardrobe as amazing and curated as yours. For the green velvet jsk, you could sew in those hanger straps (like the thin satin straps often found in tops and dresses, i don't know what they`re called in english) so you can hang it without damaging the velvet or stretch out the elastic!

I’m so glad I decided to read the comments here, that’s clever and I’m going to do it for a bunch of my dresses now 💕 Thanks for the advice!

3:29 Avina-kei does restoration projects on their Ko-Fi. You might find some benefit from that content. Because of the work they do it's behind a paywall but they're definitely very skilled at this process. I have my own process but I'd have to see the stains and know what caused them to figure it out (and I'm not as familiar with UK cleaning products, sorry) 11:33 A dryer static sheet will stop wig flyaways or light dewrinkle spray. Long wigs misbehave really easily.

I just want to say real quick as a black transmasc who has always been in love with lolita fashion (having participated in it as well at an earlier stage in my life) but felt very uncomfortable wearing it in public over time, you’ve helped me so much regain my confidence in wearing lolita out again (specifically the old school style of sweet and goth) I appreciate your existence so much! ❤

With your AP Velveteen Heart Cut out jsk, store it flat in a dress box, ideally with acid free tissue paper. It should save it from any fabric stress and fading :)

I have a recommendation for hanging your AP heart cutout jsk.. I hang my BTSSB velveteen babydoll jsk inside out with a pant hanger (that has a flat grip, NOT one with teeth or parts that stick out for more grip) where the straps meet the bodice.. I am afraid of the velveteen rubbing off since I used to hang another velveteen jsk inside out (to reduce the gathering of dust or other little things), and it ended up rubbing off a tiny bit on the velveteen at the strap.. So I recommend a gentle (strong enough to hold your dress sturdily, but gentle enough to not have a death grip over your dress either) pant hanger (again, one that has a flat grip) and the dress inside out (so more of the direct pressure is on the lining and not velveteen). You could also put some paper pieces over the part of the dress you will hang, and between the clamp parts to reduce direct contact too. Hope it made sense and helps! :3 Also, your wardrobe is one of my favorites! I honestly watched your last wardrobe post many times~

such a beautiful wardrobe, thank you so much for sharing! every time i see any close up pictures of the very early ~2000s dresses they stun me so much. it really makes me want to focus on them more, even though it has gotten more popular and expensive recently. also it's funny that you mention your ac qr codes because i'm still using them in my game LOL. you also made one for the isabel op back then too! it makes sense that that was also always a dream dress, it's soo beautiful

what a lovely closet tour! I have a headdress in that deep pink velveteen that you have a skirt in, I've never seen a main piece in that fabric before! : O I've won the headdress in a raffle and it's the first egl piece I've ever owned, it doesn't match anything in my wardrobe but I don't wanna get rid of it bc of the sentimental value, maybe I'll try to hunt down a skirt like yours but then again I never see them around :")

When you say tide stains, do you mean Tide detergent? Also, is that velveteen rayon or polyester? If you can tell me a little more about what happened and the piece I can pass it on to my friend who used to do laundry professionally for a theater.
@lady_sir_knight37136 ай бұрын
The Tartan Check Heart Pocket jsk is exactly the sort of dress I think of when I think about old school. That with long bloomers and peter pan blouse that's probably from a mainstream store? Basically straight out of FRUITS. As for the Heart Cutouts jsk, I would say in a drawer with tissue paper between the layers. And I would say don't be afraid to wear cream with white, you can treat it like wearing different shades of any other color, you just have to balance it.
@CynicalNeoPrincessism6 ай бұрын
No not tide detergent, I mean tide marks from water/dye. It's a cotton velveteen according to the label. Thank you!
@CynicalNeoPrincessism6 ай бұрын
