@ This is my main gripe w/ the syntakt hats/cyms also. The hats and cymbals can do nice things with the right touch, but I wish it had a 909 ride machine or something. On the flip side, it's nice to make stuff that doesn't have the typical 909 hats/ride all the time. Digitakt can fill that void easily. Nice track!

You're right. it's cool not always to use a 909 ride but often only this 909 ride makes me addicted to techno. everything electronic and a little acoustic elements. the 909 ride is perfect. a basic one shot sample machine for ride in a 909 style would be awesome but i don't think elektron wants that. and yes, digitakt and syntakt or digitone are best friends! sample based groovebox and a groovebox with synthesis, best combo.
