As someone completely new this is good but I have some points - Talking over it is good and easy to understand for those who have some solid understanding. It is quite overwhelming given how new I am to dribbling. listening, watching the controller and the player all at the same time as hard. I think it would be better to explain what you are going to do with just the controller first then the controller and the player after. It would make it much more manageable as this is the first year I have ever tried dribbling

No words man… awesome work!! I can only imagine what you´ll be able to do in a couple of months. Another little detail 2k added is that when you do a RS move to the non ball hand, if you hold RT after, the player will continue to dribble for a short while (no stamina loss and can combo to more stuff). Diferent signature sizeup will have its own auto dribble.

I’m commenting before I watch. Loved your post moves tutorial. There’s a good streamer I watch that has a great videos for 2k25. + Rhythm shooting. He says as he has mixed feelings on the advantages of rhythm shooting which I agree with, He says to Disable the dribble moves on the right stick-make it shots only, thereby removing the slight delay you get by using rhythm shooting. Did you hear about that? And how do you compare 2k 24 + 25?

Yeah, I've been trying to find a solution for this. this is the best stick color I've seen that provides enough contrast as far as Dualsense controllers go, so it's all I got unless someone's got a better controller input graphic. I don't like the look of the standard PS4 controller with the red sticks, but I might go back to it just to help people out better.

Sometimes I get the between legs if im too far left or right and if im too far up left or up right I get a cross animation like I should be hitting 10/2 o'clock rather than 11/1 o'clock...

Question- do you recommend using passive dribble hand switches or no?
@KevinCruz016
@KevinCruz016 2 ай бұрын
If you’re a right stick dribbler i would recommend it to be turned off. It gets in the way a lot at times

I will say it again, the Poole and Curry clips alone should make anyone want to master these moves. 2k really took their time with those 2 players pro play animations. But uhhhh, i need some more Kyrie clips 👀👀

I'm slowly starting to unlock Kyrie! His bag goes way deeper than I expected!

2k24 also had special launches i think. Its nice to have all these complex animations, but i believe its what make the latency in online game so big

Does the speed of the right stick movement affect the dribble speed? I'm noticing it does, I didn't know that.

This was a thing in past 2Ks, but I didn't really bother to check this year! Good thinking, but for the LS it definitely is a thing!

@@KevinCruz016 Check out Luka, if you move the stick slowly the moves are completely different compared to moving it as fast as you can. Moving it as fast as possible looks almost like 2K16 dribbling. He does like a Joe Johnson short fast dribble style, not sure it's particularly effective but it looks cool lol.

So you need passive dribbling on to do this stuff ?
@KevinCruz016
@KevinCruz016 Ай бұрын
No, but if you know how to work around it, it helps in creating a lot of dynamic dribble situations. If you plan on using the LS a lot more than the right, I recommend on, but if you're a RS dribbler, turn it off.

Will this be ok to do this on a slow speed with ball (70) but high 90 ball handle? A Luka build with a mild bronze speed boost
@KevinCruz016

Thats an interesting question. I’d make sure that the strength is high enough though, and it would depend on the dribble style you can get. But nothing impossible I think, I just really think lightning launch is such an essential badge. And if you dont have it, offset that with strong handle
