Good afternoon Chef Jeff!! I truly appreciate and enjoy watching your videos. Some were commenting about washing the turkey inside, especially to make sure that packet is out. Some will do the outside and just run water inside but don't put their hand in to make sure nothing is left. I got this silly brother who for the most part is a good cook. He didn't check. The neck and stuff wasn't in a bag in the cavity. Just there. At the table carving the bird he came across the neck. His grandkids asked what it was. That silly fool said it was the turkey's weewee. Those kids don't eat turkey to those day!!😂😂😂😂

When I took over having the family Thanksgiving it was actually the first time I'd ever fixed a turkey. It was also slathered in butter and seasoning. Being Italian I also poked garlic I the meat as well. I made it in a roaster. As we sat down for dinner my Dad had his first few bites of the turkey and said it was the juiciest he'd ever had. My Mom gave both him and me a dirty look. Lol. I think she was a lot surprised and a bit jealous.

Hello, Chef Jeffrey! I pray that all is well! I'm still watching your educational videos, learning so much knowledge in general, kitchen knowledge and knowledge about life itself. My roommate says, I should start cooking and exercising my skills now, but I'd rather begin when I move into my own place and residence. I cannot operate in a micro sized kitchen and trying to cook around someone else who cooks all day, that is getting in the way. My roommate is on a fixed income, home for 85% of the day, so whether I'm working or off, it is challenging to cook around him, it is much better for a man to have his own, if he is in the position to establish his own foundation, at least making it a goal, working towards that.
