In this video I review a 2001 Oldsmobile Silhouette which is the second generation model of this minivan, sold from the 1997 to 2004 model years. The Silhouette is part of a trio of minivans from GM that includes the Chevy Venture, Pontiac Montana and Olds Silhouette. In this video I do a full walkround, interior overview, provide technical specs and take it for a test drive.

I have a 1998. I love this van. Rides great. Plenty of pep. It's a 3rd vehicle for my family so I use it as needed. But every time I take out... I fall in love with it. It's so comfortable that we took it on a 600 mile trip to NC last year. My van just hit 101,000 miles on it for a 22 yr old van. Lol.

I love my 2004 premium, luxury, fully loaded mini van. It drives so smooth & it's roomy, it seats 7 luxury leather heated seats & so much more, I can go on 😂 Now I need to find something similar. Cuz they don't make Oldsmobiles any more 😭 mine has 218,000 miles. I think, I can go another hundred. Mine has air shocks cuz it adjust the weight you put in it & has its own air gauge, dvd player. Both side doors are remote LoL! And it's been specially embroided "Oldsmobile" on the seats. I'm guessing cuz it's the last model made. Do a review on 2004 model.

Enjoyed the review! My family had a 1998 one of these growing up, spent many a long road trip in it. Although this had way more trim options. But, in the right read side compartment there was an integrated air compressor for reinflating tires, I guess- does yours have that?

You are correct that the grille and bumper design are slightly different but the headlights, turn signals, and side marker lights are identical.

Not gonna mention the quality control of GM in that era? It has a black rear door handle most likely off a Montana or a venture considering the silhouette was the only one of the trio that had body colour doorhandles. The steering wheel is falling apart one of the controls on the seat is missing, it was also very stained and disgusting inside

We are inheriting a 2004 Silhouette and thinking about converting it to a camper van. Does the 3rd row seating come out? And does the stoarage unit in the back come out????

2023 recently divorced moved to abq and bought one for 1000 $ ...only issue is no. Tail lights working or brake lights. So ill figure it out
