Had the great privilege of meeting Calloway at an event at what's now the former Trump Hotel D.C., now a Waldorf, then just The Old Post Office. He was visiting w his first daughter Camay, who'd risen thru the ranks of the Arlington school system. He was indifferent to my praises, but shook my hand so I get to pocket that. He was brilliant. So were Fayard and Harold. Much of their routine here gets adapted in the Minelli 'Pirate' thanks to Gene Kelly, who honorably shares the stage WITH than showcases (ghettoizes) them separately. This is a rare find and I am very grateful for this.

I took adult tap at 26" wasnt very good at it but wow! the classes make you super appreciate those moves. I saw a dicumentary of the men when they wete prob in their 60s or 70s..talking about the shows they did and places they went! I think the younger brother performed in France A while!
