He stayed for 2 more years, always claiming how the hates the game. Eventually left for Askara in 2009. So not quite true retirement wise.

In those old PK videos it always amazes me how little effort it took to kill someone, characters seem both more fragile, but also seem to deal more dmg than today.

did not seem, it really did. The formulas where different, mages where low lvl with low HP, hitting a lot. Knights had UH in hotkey healing like 50~70% of life, each use. That oldschool time was crazy XD, I guess they nerfed spells on 8.0 or 8.1 update, I don't remember.

@@thiagomafralazzari8958 8.0 with svargrond update big nerf for magic vocations and buff knight and palladin. From 8.0 version you could buy runes from npc (SD had then 3 charges not 1). Also they changed that you as paladin dont have anymore to pickup spears (great change). for me 7.92 was best tibia

@@Dzikio1 yes! Many of them mages stoped playing in this era, you can see Mannow in this video complaining about that update that was about to come.

@@thiagomafralazzari8958 yes, they added ice and terra damage and changed UE. Pvp before 8.0 was very fun but balance was sux. Ah, and the next feature they added it that you targed exori vis etc. direct to targen event if its distance - also great change. Its incredible how game was changing since years. Today balance and gameplay is ok. The direction where game went was proper and changes was nesecary.

@@Dzikio1 Bro you are wrong, it was totally conversely. How giving mages great mana potions and runes in shop was a nerf? and replacing UH for Great Health Potions (ultimates didnt exist) was buff for knights? My PK team could kill top server 200lvl knight as easy as 80 because of same healing... It was begin of MS/ED era where they could spam SD on frost dragons/warlocks/DL SOLO which was impossible before that...

This must have been right before the fragging update, where everyone taking part on a kill would get an unjustified kill. I remember people going in a rampage on a killing spree and people wanted to enjoy the system to its last as it was before it's too late.

you're talking about summer update 2009. After it, 20 ppl were getting a frag for killing 1 player. Mannow retired at least 1 year eariler.
