A great rendition of this excellent story.

If I had never seen the movie, I think I would have liked this more. It was good, but I kept comparing the performers to Bogart, Bergman, Henreid, and Rains. Even Dooley Wilson!

And a great actress. Never saw her in an unconvincing role

And phenomenally intelligent, too, was Hedy

Excellently done-I enjoyed it every bit as much as the film maybe more!

A hard act to follow from the film version, but we enjoyed it. We found the audience laughter throughout rather strange. But in 1944, no one in the audience had seen Casablanca 50 plus times, so we guess that was a reason.

Lux soap is partially responsible for the reason we call daytime dramas "Soap Operas"

I'm not sure why, but Alan Ladd's expression looks like he'd just realized he'd been screwed over

Alan Ladd did a terrible job; but then again nobody compares to Humphrey Bogart

Great except for the volume levels - loud then barely audible, then loud etc.

These shows were aired live and before hi fidelity.

That was painful! I've never been a fan of Alan Ladd (except for his eyebrows!), but everyone here is awful, including the great Hedy Lamarr. I'm glad this isn't the first of these recordings I've heard, or I wouldn't have listened to more than a few minutes of this.
