I love to watch snow falling. I try to stop what I’m doing and either just stand by a window or go out to the yard and sit on our swing. I know it’s gray skies but the white of the snow against the green of the pines in our yard is just breathtaking. Each season has its own beauty and I’m grateful for that.

I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying winter so far. I know I’m in the minority but I love gray, cold, winter days. We’ve were snowed in for a few days and I absolutely loved it! The “frosting” of snow is beautiful! I was thinking, maybe a belt for your new dress to cinch it a bit. Maybe a woven one in natural or a tanish color. I think that would accent the color & design beautifully. Just a thought. 😊

I usually take my dough out and bake the bread in the oven. I'm laughing at myself why didn't I think to just remove the paddle. Love the dress its awesome. Kids need fresh air even when its cold.

Hillary, is that the red sweater you got for Christmas? It's stunning! Love all the sweet little details. That looks like a piece you can treasure for many years to come. I've heard nothing but good things about Kate Snow's curriculum. I was super close to getting it for my youngest but decided to put my boys in the same curriculum to keep things simple. Each time I hear about it, it sounds so fun and engaging. Yay for tea time, reading, puzzles, and snow. Sounds like such a dreamy few days.

Is that typical for Maine this time of year? We're in southern Utah. We don't typical get snow but 30min up the mountains from us they do. We often go up into the mountains to play in the snow and get our fix. This year it's been slush and none of the mountains around us have they're typical dusting.
