I used to go to matches there (if that's the old County Hall in Charleston, SC) from '73-'76. Great memories cheering heels and driving adults crazy. It was a tiny venue, maybe 3,000 people. They had a great, old timey promoter there named Henry Marcus who wore plaid jackets and greeted people after they cleared the ticket window. I once saw Gene and Ole get attacked in the aisle after a "Broadway"... maybe 10 feet in from not of me.

I liked his style (or lack of one) during his Ga. Champion Wresting run on WTBS. I liked how he would look right into the TV cameras and tell us in a careful, slow matter how he was going to thump Tommy "Wildfire" Rich in the early 80s.
