Clinton from C&C Equipment is a great friend to have. Anyone who hasn't checked out his channel yet should. He has great content on it, like repairing heavy equipment and so on amongst other cool things too. Anyway, that rake seems to have made it much easier to rip those stumps out. Let's you get better "grip" on the stumps.
@brianadams4292 жыл бұрын
Looks like he's pushing more dirt than wood. I could using the dozer to remove the stumps, but would a big frontend loader with a rootrake do the same thing but not move top soil aswell. just my thoughts.
@prestonvaughn20782 жыл бұрын
My thoughts exactly. With the big tines it plays hell with the biggest roots and stumps but leaves a lot behind.

I must admit, I'm not the biggest fan of bulldozing videos. BUT the camera angle from around 11min where you can see how Chris operates this big machine is really interesting to watch as it gives a perspective of what the operator does too. Liked that a lot!

An old strip miner friend here in WV taught me that you never use steering clutches under a load. You steer by tilting the blade or back up and take another angle. He said steering under load is hard on the clutches and final drives. Take it for what it’s worth.

Good job brother, thanks for sharing Chris! What’s going to be done with all those stumps, are you going to have to pile and burn them my friend? Those should be done like the day Christmas trees, they haul them to prevent coastal erosion! Be a lot easier than piling and burning them, plus puts them working on a good purpose saving the shoreline! Imagine if you have to pile all those and burn them, that will take weeks to burn and pile em again and again! That’s a lot of stumps and a lot of hours! Great job and the D-6 is a beast brother! Thanks again for sharing Chris! Letsdig18 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸
