Can i use 1.3" OLED screen? It have the SH1106 driver 128x64 res, adafruit module with SPI interface. If i can, do you have, or can you write me the steps? Please? And why do you use the lcd backlight? Isn't OLED don't need a backlight? Thank you in advance

I'm not sure about that. The reason for leaving the backlight is for cosmetic reasons.

Driver compatibility. Original BW screen is equipped with ST7567 or compatible. First of all, check the compatibility between the two drivers(ST7567 and SH1106). If the two drivers are compatible, there is no need to create new firmware.

Does the contrast setting do anything with yours? I think the oled I built into my Boxer could be brighter.

Can I use a 1.3" or 1.4" OLED screen? Can OLED screens with built-in I2C be used? The mod code can be used for ELRS and CC2500 versions, right?

Check the OLED driver. The OLED should be compatible with SSD1309 and SPI interface. I2C is not supported. The display is independent of RF system.

My code for OLED is included SSD1309 display driver. So SSD1309 display driver or compatible that adopted for OLED, that is available. Fifth pin is not use. Tinning on that pin is meaningless.

Thank you, I'm not sure about that and I don't have first version jumper T pro, but I think it's possible without firmware mod. Jumper T-pro has 1.3" screen, if you replace 1.3" OLED, it will work. Take care wiring.

Great job well done!! Please make a mod that use normal size screen for example from tx16s that we can attach externally using fpv screen bracket. It's going to be useful options for fixed wing pilot using Yaapu or Inav telemetry. Thanks!

@@un_ours_blanc it's a mod. Option that people can make. How often that people that have it put in their pocket. It just a name to tell the size. If I want bigger screen yes I can go for tx16s OR I can just buy a 6usd lcd (for car reverse monitor) that is compatible. 😘

Hi, Many thanks for your presentation. Have connected a 2.42inch OLED with the same resolution but I broke cable to the LCD when I worked with the radio. Have ordered new LCD display. Do not know how to get the OLED bin file loaded when I have no display. Next question is how to return to original LCD software if my OLED does not work. Can you help with advise?

The OLED shown in the vid is 1.54". Choosing a small OLED is solely your preference. Choose SSD1309 driver OLED.
