@@bbittercoffee Rupture would actually have been far less effective, it deals less damage than fire and ticks down every time the enemy acts, while fire deals damage any time an enemy concludes its action while occupying the affected space, so it's great against enemies with a lot of attacks per turn. However, rupture is significantly more effective against the final phase of a certain secret boss, since it only has 1 action per turn but moves 10 times every turn, triggering rupture 10 times while only ticking it down once. Kleiver with his scar and rupture attacks is pretty funny against it.

Nice job vs Unfinished Heir. I had the same party as you when I beat it, but I also had Rags, so I stacked scars on the thing and it was much easier - not nearly as close a fight as yours. Fire is the way to go, it seems.

Fennec isn't a combat guy. He's for deploying shield which I find is pretty good as on-demand HP that you can't keep, but iirc, is unaffected by scars/frail/on hit effects.

I beat it by splig standing in the right corner for 15 minutes while the bird from over 100 health killed itself slowly and never crossed paths with splig.
