Tyler keeps saying that tiara run is impossible but you actually can do it. You just ignore all stats except for speed and take items that deal damage with effects (like 5 soul damage to random etc). Obviously you can't freeze bosses to win but that random damage will kill owl eventually (not sure how you manage light side, prob spec into defence a little). You just need to be cautious with your slots targeting specific weapon/armor/mask and not taking items into other slots. The good thing is that you only need a plan to kill bosses because tiara just carries all other encounters which means you go to all bonus rooms providing better chances to "hit". But all this requires planning and definitely not doable as a spoon run agreed on this.

Olexa, I’m confused about your approach to Patience, and I’m not trying to roast you or anything. You’ll be standing there with enough time to escape, but you’ll decide that the enemy in front of you needs to die first. I’m not entirely sure why though. You can just simply walk past the enemies inside of Patience. The only ones you cannot pass are the wall monsters if they wake up before you make it to the door. The only thing I can figure is somehow you have it in your mind that you can’t walk past the enemies inside of Patience, and I could 100% see somebody making that mistake and just never realizing it.

@@karls8103possibly but I’ve seen him do it before in other runs. Like his response isn’t, “oh, I’ll die if I sneak” it’s been, “I can’t make it in time.” Just trying to confirm cuz like… I 100% could make the same mistake if I was going in blind. I find theres always like one mechanic in these more complicated Roguelikes where I get an idea for how it works in my head, and it just doesn’t get changed until somebody corrects me :(

Idea: If you want a firebead / poisonbead to hit a specific enemy then go back and forth next to said enemy till the bead arrives and then, when both the bead (with the hourglass symbol above it) and enemy are next to you, move across the bead and away, making them hurt the enemy but not you. However if the whole "moving back and forth thing would put you next to the bead early without the enemy then find a way to waste a turn or get rid of the one card between the two of you.

I'd suggest focusing on only defense or only damage. with enough damage and speed enemies won't have a chance to attack you, with enough defense and health enemies won't deal enough damage to kill you.

p.s: if you had a full inventory before you should have a book called absorb unlocked. it's the best legendary you can get for the tiara

Ignore defense and clarity. 25+ hp and ~16 attack If you go to the well you can also absorb the weightless mask for another item like the flail for multi-hit

Maaan I miss playing RoP, but uh, some (hopefully not sounding rude) noticing, you tend to overreact towards the fellas that walk around and smack you. Not necessarily the same problem with the second tier of them though, and you slightly overvalue petrification (which wouldn't be an issue exactly if you picked up more rockifying stuff) but overall you play good aside from being a goober sometimes
