Hi, thank you for the tutorial. Can I put inlet pressure as input?. As I know, olga only allows to input outlet pressure. Thank you.

Can you tell me how is your simulation results coming different than the usual laws...for a given flow rate, a larger pipe will have less velocity of the multiphase fluid and if we are operating in friction zone then less velocity gas will have a lesser pressure drop or in other words the inlet pressure required will be less .....in simple terms larger the size better the pipe since for a given flow rate we will be requiring a lesser pressure drop thereby saving pressure energy....how is your results opposite to general trend...can anyone else explain ?

you are correct. I'm pretty sure a pipeline with a larger diameter corresponds to a smaller pressure drop, which means lower inlet pressure given a constant outlet pressure and flow rate. Actually I got this trend in my simulation.

Please tell me how to define a different mass flow rate at different times. I tried it and said that all the values must have the same length. I also tried to repeat them as well, but still does not work. Help

Hi. The number of mass flow rates specified needs to be the same number as the number of time points specified.
