Traditional Scottish Ballad | 'House Carpenter (The Daemon Lover)' Cover by Aethelwyne & Jirka Hájek

Hi, everyone! I can finally share with you one of my favourite folk songs ever, house Carpenter, in collaboration with the talented multi-instrumentalist, Jirka Hájek. The version that stole my heart was, of course, by Myrkur, so we made sth similar. Hope you enjoy it!
Specifically about the ballad, "it has its roots in the Middle Ages, the so-called “girl on the beach”: in the British ballad “Demon Lover” (Child # 243) best known in the American versions entitled “The House Carpenter” and the seducer is the Devil."
