I can’t believe a pattern this beautiful is this easy to do. I was afraid to try but it’s just row by row I did my swatch in a four only so I could see what I was doing more easily learning the pattern. Now I will be confident to do it with a two or three I would never ever work with a # one lol thank you so ,!

Did my best to write everything out! Hope this helps! Row 2: chain one and turn. SC into the first DC. skip the chain 2 space and, into the next chain five space, make 9 DC. The, SC into the next chain five space. DC 9 more into the next five chain space, and SC into the next. repeat until your last 9 dc space, and then into the next open space, skip two chains of that space and make a SC. Row 3: chain three and turn. skip the first DC of the 9DC shell. then DC into the second one, chain one, and then DC into the next one. chain one, and continue until you've crochet DC 7 in total. You've skipped the first and last DC of the 9DC shell. Repeat until the end. End with a DC into the very last SC. Row 4: chain one and turn, and make a SC into the very first DC. make a SC into the first space made by a chain one of the previous row. then chain three, and SC into the next space. continue this for all of the 7DC you made in the previous row. you should have five little bubbles at the end of the first shell. repeat for each shell, starting with that SC into the first space of that chain one. end with a SC into the top of the turn from row three. Row 5: chain 5 and turn. skip the first chain through space, and SC through the 2nd bubble of the first shell. Chain 5, and SC through the 4th bubble of that same shell. Chain another 5, and this time you're skipping the 5th bubble of the first shell AND the 1st bubble of the next shell in order to SC into the 2nd bubble of the next shell. Repeat with a chain 5 and SC into the 4th bubble of this shell, and repeat until the end. After you've SC'd into the 4th bubble of your last shell, then chain 2 and DC into the last SC.

I am crocheting half the scarf in one direction, ending on row 4, then starting over from the foundation chains, crocheting the other half in the other direction. Perhaps I'll make a border between the two. I love the pattern❤ The instructions are very clear and it is easy to make this scarf - although my brain keeps forgetting how to start and end the rows🙄 Looking forward to wearing this beautiful pattern. Thank you very much😊

Beautiful pattern & fabulous tutorial Olga. One question, how do I ensure that my stitches are even in number? My scarf begins to decrease after the first few rows.
@OlgaPoltava3 жыл бұрын
Hi Rajesh, I'm sorry for the late response. The only way I can think of is counting your stitches after each row.

Olga, do you think using Caron Simply Soft yarn would work with this pattern?
@OlgaPoltava3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ann, Caron Simply Soft is very soft in comparisons to the yarn I used, so the drape will be much softer. You can make a small sample/swatch to see if you like it (multiple of 9, plus 7).

Hi Olga! I LOVE this beautiful scarf!! Would this pattern work with a #4 (medium) yarn? If so, what hook size would you recommend? Thanks!!
@OlgaPoltava4 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry for the late reply. It should work, but it will have a different look. Simply use the hook size recommended for your yarn.

Hi! I just checked the pattern. Multiple of 9, plus 7 works. I honestly don't know why it didn't work out for you. How many chains do you have left at the end of the first row?
