Where do you get your replacement blades for your Otacles? Not happy it's proprietary yet I have two (donut/dessert warrior and a carbon fiber) on order. Also have dessert warrior pen on order as well. Great review as well btw

I Google otacle blades and you’ll come up with several options. I’m actually eyeing the titanium utility knife olight has, it uses standard utility blades. Thank you and thanks for watching!

@EDCQ ya ok. I've seen them and like $5.99 for 10 blades. So not bad. And I think you might be talking the Otacle Pro... to bad I didn't see that before ordering the Otacle. However the Pro does not come in dougnut and the sliding mechanism scares me (looks like it could slide open by accident)

You know what I would like to see you do for a video? I would love to see you pick up an older American made slip joint knife or even a new one like a Great Eastern Cutlery and do a review on it, but don't pick up any knives made by Case knives. There are a ton of great older brands that made great slip joints. I think you would dig an old American made slip joint. Another great video, I will have to check into some Olight products.

Excellent idea!!! Any brand recommendation? I’ve heard of Old Timer and Old Hickory, but that’s about the extent of my knowledge. I’ve been pleased with the Olight stuff I’ve gotten.

@@EDCQ If you don't want to spend a lot go with an old USA made Schrade or Camillus. If you want to go a bit more expensive then an Remington slip joint will be good. If you want a new traditional knife then go Great Eastern Cutlery.

@@EDCQ I would recommend a stockman pattern or a Barlow. Bear and Sons Cutlery make a nice Barlow in 1095 carbon steel.
