Which would you choose, i3T 2 EOS ( amzn.to/49n4UPh ) or i5R EOS ( amzn.to/3OVFK1I )? Do you prefer aesthetics over function in your EDC? I really value your feedback, and thanks for watching! I'm normally a function over form guy and I already have a standard black i3T 2 but when I saw the Dragon vs Phoenix version I bought that too! This is the first time I have noticed myself buying something simply because it looks so pretty.

Sometimes you just gotta buy something because it looks cool. Thanks for watching!

Nice thoughtful review, and I was thinking about the gold phoenix version myself so it was cool to see someone handle it "in person" rather than just product photos on store sites. Have been using a Lumintop Tool AAA for years, but I love the dual fuel nature of this one, the great clip, and the 2 very useful brightness modes. I also have a Lumintop Tool AA which is also NiMH/14400 and I've liked the options there, but I think the pocket friendliness of a AAA light is hard to beat. Looking forward to trying my own i3T 2 when it comes in.

Sometimes I buy a light just because it looks cool. I'm the same way with pocket knives. The Dragon i3t v2 sure looks nice.

I totally get that! Sometimes aesthetics are just as important as functionality. The Dragon i3t v2 really does have a sleek design!

@@chestersedc i ordered the dragon i3t v2. and an i3t in dream blue. And.. added an antique bronze i3e just to get free shipping. 😆

I've done that as well....

I choose the i3T 2 EOS for its lighter weight and impressive 200 lumens with a single AAA battery.

If you need more brightness and runtime, try re-chargeable 10440 batteries. You can get a pack of 4 USB-C chargeable ones for under $20, amzn.to/49rD2cv. Thanks for watching!! Does the i3t2 pocket clip, work on the i3t? Any issues?
@chestersedc3 ай бұрын
No, the i3T 2 pocket clip will not screw onto the old i3T cap as the threads are different sizes. I was able to take the i3T 2 cap and screw it onto the old i3T body, but not the other way around. The i3T seemed to work with the i3T 2 tail cap in my quick test. Thanks for watching!

what is your favorite 10440 ?
@chestersedc11 күн бұрын
@Whitepinoy I like this USB-C rechargeable 10440 ( USB-C 10440 3.7V: amzn.to/4cABiQ9 ). I use in all of my i3T's and like that it is USB-C rechargeable. 10440's without the charging port will store more power, but I like the convince of USB charging. i3e 2 is an easy choice. With a 10440 the output difference is negligible. Cheaper and lighter.

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate your insight and agree it is hard to beat for the size. My only want would be for more runtime when it is needed.

@@chestersedc For those who use a flashlight for work it’s a different story. I personally never seem to need a light for more than 10 seconds honestly lol! I really cannot imagine using a flashlight for one hour let alone many hours. I have become much more flexible with runtimes lately. The reality is we live generally in such well illuminated environments. I find months go by I don’t need a flashlight for any reason at all. I don’t know how many experience this as well.

@onedirection3510 - Sounds like a great fit for your use case. I work in a lot of new building construction with no utilities, so I need a light for hours at times, especially during the winter when it gets dark by 5 PM. Having the right light can make all the difference. Thanks for watching and commenting!
