Ok, so I watched a flashlight video, then I bought one. Watched some more, bought another, then another. This has got to stop...

Hey brotha love the fact that the SR52UT is USB rechargeable via micro USB, also like the fact it has a long runtime and is nearly 1000 meters. Is there anything on the market comparable to this? I see the new mini Thru-night has similar specs but the Olight still seems to beat it. I'm looking for 1,000 meter throw, and micro usb or magnetic chargeable, (usb perfect) anything you know of that comes close?

Awesome throwers,Great review as always Mr.
@Bill237999 жыл бұрын
Thanks Chris. Both of those are incredible. You think you could use one as a searchlight for Drones? Like they used those big searchlights in WW II to spot enemy bombers. What about making a shadow cutout to go in front and throwing up a " Bat Signal " on a low hanging cloud. Seriously, I think lights like those would be great to have as part of a survival kit in a life raft. Of course it could be a tragedy to have a search pilot spot my 1200 Lumen light.......fly over my life raft and then get hit in the eyes by my beam and be blinded temporarily and crash his plane into the sea. ( you would need a hand crank dynamo to charge it also ) My last GF once said to me " Bill I never know what to get you for a present " I told her that's easy......a good flashlight or a box of .45 ACP.

Do you see a difference between Olight SR52 and the Sr52 UT says it goes 200 more meters, have you tested both side by side? Just wanting to know if you see a difference, thanks for the videos and your time.
@WIKTOR755 жыл бұрын
Short of looking through the comments but isn’t the M3XS-UT a 1000 metre thrower instead of 800 and the m2x-ut being the 800 metre thrower well 810 metres to be precise
@bill49139 жыл бұрын
Thanks Chris..Great info and the price is not that expensive.
@Ragesauce9 жыл бұрын
small suggestion, show both flashlights side by side if you can tripod your camera to show off the quality difference in real time, also just to blast the area with light and show off how cool they are.
@toulor99999 жыл бұрын
I have both flashlights, my m3xs-ut is a bit brighter and easier on the eyes due to its neutral tint while my sr52ut is more on the cool white.

+Tou Lor If you want the light to be a self defense "weapon",putting it in the strobe mode,you prefer the 52,because of the cooler tint,as it is more dazzling to the bad guy. It is the reason I bought this light.

out of curiousity, are either of those water proof? im guessing "bob" isnt at least which if im correct, would be a nice feature to improve on.

What if the M3XS-UT JAVELOT was only $100 instead of $150? Would that change your preference because it seems like that is what really scared you away from deciding left or right. I got my javelot brand new for $100, I figured that was an awesome deal and with the savings I can stock up on CR123 batteries maybe even a few rechargeables so I'm not burning thru my primary's constantly. But that's just my thoughts. Anything you would like to share on what has been said?

Hey Chris, great video. I would like you opinion on the best flashlight for me. I'm searching for a flashlight with a great throw but also with a great flood. Is there any preference to a well balance flashlight. I do not know much about them but I been doing a lot of research. So if you could help, it would be most appreciated.

I would love to know how these models compare to the new thrunite tn32 UT? I have a acebeam k40m which is a monster with big flood and long throw, a pure thrower would be cool to have. Out of the two lights in this vid, the SR52UT would be my choice, 4 hours on max... now thats seriously impressive All the best
@WStar4Life9 жыл бұрын
I think of the M3XS-UT, M25C2, etc are best as weapon lights. I have my M3XS-UT on my AR 14.5" and my M25C2 on my AR 9.5"
@larryprince67919 жыл бұрын
Chris, you forgot to mention if this come with batteries? Amazon says they don't, Going Gear doesn't mention it, but they are not listed as being included. So this would make "Bob" cost more than $119.00.

they did not.

+Tenchi Arizonia I put Thrunite in the top 3 Chinese made flashlights. Their newest stuff (TN12-2015) is even better. People are way too cynical skeptical. Yeah, they do a LOT of KZbin advertising, but do you really think EVERYONE is going to lie if they were REALLY bad flashlights? No. And they aren't.

Are you sure these aren't lasers, Chris? Because I'm fairly sure you could mount them on a drone and you'd have your own anti-ninja incendiary chopper. The R40 Seeker or this Intimidator... that's a HARD choice!

I recently purchased " BOB" the SR52UT, this thing is awesome. Last night I was shining the sky looking for a fat man trying to brake into my house n steel my cookies. I received a call from NASA asking me to stop what I was doing ( shining the SR52UT up in the sky) because it was interfering with the astronauts duties on the international space station. Sorry NASA 🔦...... the emoji looks like the SR52UT 👍
