Olight Odin Mini Unboxing Tabletop Review and Installation Overview

I love flashlights! I must have about a dozen or so kicking around my house, cars and gearbags. The good folks at Olight reached out to me to get my impression of their recently launched Odin Mini. A more compact version of the full size Odin, the mini provides a neater package for smaller platforms with slightly lower output but with the same great features.
In this video we do the unboxing, tabletop review and installation on my AR.

Did you have to buy the Picatinny mount separately or did it come with the light

What brand is the picatinny mount that you used? Where did you buy it?

Its by that company. Just bought a bundle deal off amazon for $159. Came with the light & pic adapter. Not sure why the m-lok is the standard one considering pic has been around for FAR longer and is standard on most guns.

No only the m-lok comes standard. The picatinny adapter is optional and separate purchase.

Hope your not using your light on that position . You want to put it on the end of the front end like that it won’t make your barrel light up and you will get more throw on

I got mine on a deal with Amazon and I got ripped. Description said it included the picatinny rail Mount. Didn’t get it. So useless to me for a bit.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with the picatinny rail mount. It’s optional and they want an arm and leg for it.

the light comes with an MLOK and the remote switch is picatinny. i agree, make up your mind which system you are using. other than that i like the light itself

Why have flip up sights with that scope...cant use the rear one...unless u have quick disconnect on the scope mount...which it doesn't look like it...Gucci gun ?

6:06 in the video you can see both QD on the optic mount. Gucci gun? What’s with the comment? If he was trying to be Gucci he’d be running a $500 light with a cloud defensive pressure pad or mod light mount. This setup works for him and that’s awesome.

Lol. don't sweat it. It was a simple installation video, not a "how'd I'd use it" advice. I did a quick guess on how far back and overshot it. Too far forward the and blast from the muzzle break will create a dirty lens pretty quick. Thanks for caring. :)

@Oklahomasurvival where he installed his weapon light is what works for him 🤷‍♂️ and what he said about the accumulation of Carbon and Gas residue is correct...just because he did not installed his weapon light like you did on yours is he’s wrong the Video is pretty much about how to install it not where to install it...always remember that the best set up is what works for the operator, every set up is different and there’s a reason why they did that but like what CRPS said to you thank you for caring on his set up
