​@@olightworld- is there a way to lock out the pro.? Several times it comes on in my pocket while using the pocket clip. The only way I can have this not happen is to turn it backwards in the plastic holster.

I think I prefer the Seeker 4, which I have ordered, but not yet received. I'm retired now, but previously served as a probation officer & as a reserve police officer. Early in my career, I was in some terrifying situations, which got me very interested in high-quality, powerful lights, that I now own, albeit many years too late. Thanks for the video.

Pro for sure. Magnetic charging and hands free. Also about 30 lumen levels. I prefer the warrior s3 for a throw light

The 4 Pro actually has grooves too around the body. They are more subtle but I like it with the rubber wrap.

I don't have the Seeker 4 - I went with the Pro instead. The Pro has more charging options, higher number of lumens, what I think would be a more comfortable grip, a magnetic option for temporary mounting, a wider range of dimness options, and a holster (whether I choose to use it or not). I honestly don't see anything "better" about the base model, without finding/discovering some use-specific case. I didn't feel the Pro model was cost prohibitive for me at the time I bought it (on sale), and I felt it would be a better choice for my intended usees. I got it in Midnight Blue, and have no regrets. I think it's the nicest and brightest flashlight I own.

The Seeker 4 PRO wins, hands down. Many others have mentioned the dual charging options, the more informative operation button & the stepless brightness control. What appeals to me is that the tactile rubberised grip would give you an intuitive sense of where the operation switch is, even while wearing gloves. I say this because I often flounder around locating the switch on my R50 Seeker Pro, even with bare hands.

Do you have to unlock the Seeker 4 Pro by rotating the dial for every use or is it like the Seeker 4?

Your recording camera is auto adjusting for the light. You can initially see the real light output then the camera compensates. I purchased the Seeker 4 mainly for the hot spot because if you're outside searching for something or someone you don't want the flood to interfere with identifying targets. I'd like olive green

Just got the seeker 4 pro on sale. Nice bright flashlight. Not a fan of the lock out system though - push here turn there. I like the simplicity of the non-pro switch better

I like both lights. If you're not carrying the case, or the magnetic charger, the Seeker 4 Pro can't be charged. For travel that makes the Seeker 4 a bit lighter. And less bright, less options. So two great lights.

It seems there may be one difference that every comparison misses. The Technical Details on the Olight web site for both the Seeker 4 Pro and Seeker 3 Pro, under ‘Compatible Batteries’, say ‘Customized 3.6V 5000mAh 21700 Lithium-ion Battery’ while the standard Seeker 4 (on the same web site) says ‘Rechargeable 21700 5000mAh / 3.6V Li-ion Battery’. NOte that it does not say ‘Customized’. I assume the custom batteries are necessary because the Pro versions use the magnetic MCC charging cable. If the Seeker 4 doesn’t need a custom 21700 because it doesn’t use the MCC charging cable, this is an important difference. Being able to use standard 21700 batteries in the Seeker 4 would be a huge plus. Can someone verify any of this? I would love to know.

Seeker 4 Pro is the best flashlight you've ever made. In the future, I expect something even better from Seeker 5 Pro. How about a charging case similar to Button 4? Imagine its potential in survival situations.

I would get a Seeker 4 if it had the same battery indicator as the Pro. Being colorblind, the indicator on the Seeker 4 is completely useless to me.

Seeker 4 would be a OK light it it wasn't in the Seeker line. They should have changed the body and called it something new. The Seeker 4 doesn't follow any of the guidelines of the Seeker line. The Seeker line is supposed to have a large bright spot woth lots of spill for general use and to illuminate your environment, not just what is directly in front of the light.. The Seeker 4 is more like a warrior with a small spot with nearly no spill. This is the last light I would carry on a hike.. I gave mine away rather than tossing it in the trash.

Seeker 4 PRO, Seems overall more sensible and effective in every way, If you want a more functional better performing more versatile light GO (Seeker 4 Pro)
