I have the X7R and I am using it as a home emergency light and search and rescue light as you said. The only thing I can think of to use the 120000 lumens for 3 minutes would probably be for signaling help on the open ocean. I didn't say mountains because I doubt I would be packing this light in my pack due to its weight. Great video bro.

that is a beast of a light!! if I had that light I'd use it as an emergency light for lighting up the common areas of my apartment building or parking lot if the power goes out, to help others see their way around

Heartland Outdoor Living. I purchased the x7r for a specific function . I have a cabin in the Southern tip of the Sequoias. about 7000' above sea level, I like to shoot my cross bow and use my gun range and generally have fun outdoors. the place is very unplugged, meaning no Internet, police or medical services for several miles. I use it to secure the place from all the critters at night. This light really lights it up at night.

What a beast! Unfortunately a beast of a price as well but still a pretty cool flashlight. I work as a school caretaker, so in the winter I open up/lockup the school in the dark and it is a big site, so for me it would be awesome to have one. Cheers Alan

Fantastic light! This light would fall under my search/rescue list and/or emergencies. The price of course reflects the good quality and huge output.

The sensor in front of the light is called a "Proximity Sensor". It's not a motion sensor just to be clear. The XR7 does have a motion sensor, however it's built in the body..

I'm looking to buy this light right now ( 8/29/21) Can anyone who has had this light for several years tell me how well the integrated battery pack is holding up ? have you noticed any significant decreases in run times ? Thank you so much for any info and help , stay safe and God bless everyone =)

Awesome. Out of my budget for sure! Love my S15R though!

Thanks for this unbiased review. As my girlfriend would say: it's all about usable power and stamina. And on that basis the X7R just isn't a good choice. 2000 real lumen (that's Chinese lumen divided by 20) with 4000 lumen turbo and a battery life of 20 hours is what I need. Any recommendations?

It charges via a USB-C port, not micro USB. That's huge because USB-C will charge faster, and it's just a newer standard.
@Skrenja3 жыл бұрын
Yeah and also that micro USB is the worst connection ever made lol.

can you change the batteries?

It looks pretty impressive. Price seems a bit high but then again the quality and performance seems to justify the cost...

There were two more sets of eyes hanging out in that tree when that heron took off. I don't like that the batteries aren't removable. I've got two of the older X7 model (9000 max lumens) and the batteries are removable, which makes possible the option of carrying another set of batteries or replacing in case of failure (although admittedly I expect either case to be rare).

The 12000 lumines would be good if you are in your car and somebody is approching and you feel unsaved you could use it to blind that person and drive away

I have one of these well worth it type c stupidly bright heavy price but worth every penny

I'm sold on the Olight BUT I think it's funny that you can't charge your rail mounted gun light on your flashlight charger. The magnet won't let you. To me that's the only downside to the Olight.

Really cool Olight flashlight, I've disassembled mine in a review. Check it out if you like.

what to do if the batteries break? is there no way to exchange them at all?
@EverydayTacticalVids7 жыл бұрын
Paul Sandin good question- not that I know of. That’s be a ‘send it back’ situation

I have a Olight Marauder X7R, I have charged it no more than 15 times, each time I need it, it has no power, and now I try to charge it, and a red and green light are flashing inside the usb C port, something is wrong with this light, too expensive, poor quality, Olight... no thank you.
