For that matter, it’s a shame Tom Selleck or Donnie Wahlberg don’t get nominated for Blue Bloods. All network shows have basically been shut out of Emmy nominations by cable and now streaming services, it’s not fair to those who can’t afford either

No, what got me. Was when Hank found out AL was in the hospital, he races to the hospital and is waiting for AL, he walks beside his gurney, telling him that he is gonna pull through. All the way up to the doors where they are taking him to surgery. He's waiting all night and morning to hear about AL's progress. When another doctor comes out and just simply says. He didn't make it. And just walked away. The way Hank just stood there, and stared at the doors where they took AL to surgery. Man... That was same something. It was a small scene, but I thought it very powerful..

@awesometacularhero4 жыл бұрын
Brody Caldwell I get that it’s sad for him to not have had to carry his casket. But maybe there was a reason on why his wife Meredith, requested that Hank Voight would not attend, Olinsky’s funeral, and my guess of the reason was and probably still is, because of the fact that Voight and Olinsky have known each other for over 20 years before Olinsky passed away, maybe Voight would’ve been looking calm cool and collected on the outside, but maybe he would’ve been sad and heartbroken and would’ve been crying on the inside, trying all he could to keep his emotions inside, and maybe he wouldn’t have wanted to break down and cry like a baby over the death of his buddy Olinsky, either at the funeral of where they had his funeral or at the cemetery, as it would’ve been too much for his wife Meredith and for Hank Voight to take his body to the cemetery to bury him, and I get it, as it is always too much for everybody, whenever they have either a family member or a friend or a best friend or a close friend pass away. You get what I mean? I mean, for me this year, a really good friend of mine who was 90 years old, of what I know he passed away of a heart attack, this year back in May, and we had his funeral on May 20th, and we went to watch our dead friend get buried at a cemetery, and another good friend of mine, his father just recently passed away this past weekend, and of what I know, I don’t know when or where the funeral will be, but as soon as I find out, I might have to attend it to support my good friend, as he is probably grieving because of his father passing away very recently, and also, well, the point being is, if you were to have a good friend pass away, and you were asked by his wife or her husband to not attend the funeral, either if it’s one reason or more than one reason or no reason at all, well, let me ask you a question about that. Would you still attend a funeral for a good friend of yours who would end up passing away from something? Yes or no? Or, would you need some time to like think about that?

Usually how it goes at funerals for Police Officers since they are like a brother hood everyone attended. I have seen funerals for Police Officers and have several small town departments show up and a large funeral procession with squad cars and emergency services. I saw a funeral for a small town police officer who died from cancer and had officers and state patrol across the state of Minnesota attend his funeral
@sethtubman6474 жыл бұрын
@@scottknode898 The first cop in Rochester, NY (where I live) died in the line of duty since 1959 in 2014. It was broadcast from the procession from the funeral home through the entire city, by motorcade on a closed interstate with police outriders and State Police helicopters in missing man formation until internment in his hometown, 15 miles away, on every local TV network; the funeral itself was held at the local sports stadium. The Governor of New York and Lieutenant Governor of New York and over 1,000 police officers from as far away as Ireland attended. The funeral procession had over 200 vehicles in it; the presidential motorcade is smaller than that.
