Like i said congolese music is played in most 'exotic' clubs along with carabean zouk and american hip hop in France. The band is french based congolese. So the dancer are French from the typical african diaspora in Frnace : Congo, Senegal, Mali, French Carabeans (Martinique+Guadeloupe), French African islands (Reunion), mostly. Girls are mostly born and raised French wirh those background from former afrocn french colonies and French departments in the Carabeans.

@lizzie2809 It's to emphasize the hips movements. Congolese music and some of the verses in lingala often emphasize on the 'loketu" which means : hips, which is the basis of most of our dances

@ViciousKarma What do you mean by cultural ? I think you mean : traditional ? it's cultural and how we dance at partes, some even dance harder than that wether it is in Africa or in clubs mostly in big european countries where there are many blacks. Congolose music is to the black community (other than the US one) what American music is for the rest of the world. It's played everywhere and in every 'black' clubs from Brussels to Paris, to London.

You are very much correct, the terminology i used was incorrect. I was expecting something a bit more traditional...something tribal i guess.

@alidyaeh11 жыл бұрын
they are all africans. i know because my brother just marry a blond hair blue eye pure african. and if you must know, they're traits are from ancestors from europe, north america, asia, even the middle east that bare children with african natives, decades later those traits can come back even if both parents are black.

It's a misconception. Tribal moves are done in tribes, villages and most of the times by old people who carried the heritage. It's done punctually at certain occasions like marriage, ect. It's not practiced as such since the Belgians colonized and merge the tribes into a single country...120 years ago. Those dances now are inheritated from our past and are very much post colonial with more percussions as opposed to the slow rhthm during the colonization.

then you seen africans with mixed arab or white blood or even possibly a genetic trait re appearing from generations back...If you or the other ignorant commentors knew anything about genetics or haplotype then you would be agreeing rather then disagreeing..Africa is where the purest and most original people come from and they were tanned to dark with brown eyes but hair types do vary
