DD is the best. My manicures last over three weeks either way doing it myself or at a shop. I've never had a chip or peeling - ever. I think folks don't follow the precleaning step and that is what causes the premature chipping. I dig in the garden, house cleaning, etc. and it lasts. Love this stuff.

I got the starter system for Dazzle Dry and OMG.... dries SO FAST! I follow a professional on youtube (Salon Life) and she encourages thin coats of DD for better/longer wear. I thinned my colored polish and the top coat - DO NOT THIN THE BASE COAT!!! Anywhoo, if you are still sticking to DD, those tips might help.

I saw that you should not thin the base coat and I feel that there should be a big label on the cap with that warning. I could just picture myself doing something airheaded like that! I think I'll make my own label 😅

How do you thin them ? I haven’t bought anything yet but I’m thinking of it and want to know what to do before committing to the system

Hands down Dazzle Dry is the best polish I’ve ever used. I was at a point where nothing could stop my nails from peeling and splitting from health issues. Dazzle Dry fixed them! They’ve been king and healthy for years now. And then there’s the drying time which is 5 min max. No more dings is huge for me. The colors are great. I can always find something I love.

So a couple of things: Dazzle Dry seems to have sales fairly regularly, and I've yet to pay the full prices for DD. Nail polish has NEVER and I mean NEVER, lasted more than 3 days without chipping badly on me. I have peeling, short, thin nails and I've tried everything, every base and top coat, every polish, nothing ever lasted like DD. I get at least 7 days without any chipping on DD, and if I touch up the minor tip wear on day 8 or so, I get 10-14 days!!! OMG! I don't work for DD, but am telling everyone I know who likes nail polish, about Dazzle Dry. Just discovered them about 6 weeks ago and I'm giving away ALL my other polish. I mean, why keep the polish that I have to remove in 2-3 days and start over when I can have polish that lasts 7-14 days!? Also, I bought the Olive & June system, also the Static Nails polish system within the past year -- both FAILS. They lasted the typical 2 days or so on me. Hard pass! I think DD must lack marketing budget and marketing savvy, because if people knew about this the way they know about OPI or Olive & June, they would do so much business. I think their web site needs improvement, it's a little frustrating. But the product, which is what matters, is AMAZING. Truly and really AMAZING.

I have used DD for years now and I use it with other colors nail polish, like INLP, OPI, CHINA GLAZE, Cirque Colors, etc . I just make sure to get the free edges so I don't get too much shrinkage after drying. I get 2 weeks out of each mani. Really love DD

Thank you for this! I feel like sometimes I love Olive and June and others it’s just okay. I know that my patience with all the steps affects the end result but even that doesn’t always seem consistent. Thanks for covering so many different factors like shine, ease, etc!

I love O+J! I’ve never tried Dazzle Dry. One tip with O+J is to let each coat dry about 5min. It’s kind of a pain because it makes the process long, but it’s so worth it because it will really wear like a gel! Thanks for such an awesome review! Happy Holidays!!! ❤️

I did that, and Olive & June still chipped on me in 2-3 days. DD is the only thing that has ever lasted more than 3 days on me, but everyone's nails are different and glad O & J worked for you!

Dazzle Dry is the only polish system that works for me with no mess ups. I add more color and top coat half way through the week. Super quick and easy.

Wow, I love this comparison. It was so well done. I loved how you made a list on both sides of the screen, too. I just ordered some Dazzle Dry products and wanted to see a review of it. I'm so glad this came up on my screen. I really like the Olive and June like you. The bottles are very cute and love the look of them. I do feel like the advertising and hype over them really draws me in, too. I can't wait to try the dazzle dry when I receive it. I agree with the expense of the DD brand, but like you also say, if the formula is that clean and it really lasts that long then it's a great value and totally worth it in the long run.

I’ve been seeing Olive & June ads and found your comparison. Thank you for posting it. I’ve used Dazzle Dry for over a year and have little to no chipping and lasts 2+ weeks, will grow out before wearing out. For extra shine I do use the top coat again after a week or so, if I’m not switching out color. The warming up you mention, depends if you are in a cold climate and if it is cloudy, I just hold the bottle (underarm works great) while I’m taking polish off, or doing pre step. Also, for thick polish - top or color - their system comes with a Revive product, just a drop or two and it’s not thick any more. For the chipping you mention, be sure the pre step is done well, I feel that’s what eliminates chips.

I’ve been using dazzle dry for almost a year now and I can honestly say that I don’t get chunks of chips not sure if you were using gloves while washing dishes and house cleaning that makes a huge difference I love dazzle dry 4 ever and have thrown out my other polishes best tip use dazzle dry first coat should always be thin on laquer

Morning! If your dazzle dry color or topcoat is thick , you have to add revive to thin out before use. You will get much better wear that way. Can’t use it thick. And yes, warming the base coat is a must. I keep my dazzle dry manicures on for 2 weeks with maybe a few tiny chips. I’m a mom of two littles and my hands are always in water and changing diapers etc, so I use my hands constantly. Happy polishing!

Dazzle dry is superior to Olive and June by all means. I did a manicure with all “quick dry” O&J products and even took my time for drying. I woke up with sheet marks on my nails! Up until that point I honestly thought that concept was lore 😂. My mind was honestly blown. Dazzle Dry is really the only product that truly meets the quick dry promise. I should have had awful nails every time I use it and inevitably whack a freshly painted nail, but no the nail was dry by that time, no mark or dent. Sure, DD is more costly but what good is a cheaper product if I can’t actually get a good outcome and want to use it?????

What colors did you use? I am a huge DD fan---the O+J takes too long to dry and doesn't stay for weeks- the only reason I change my polish is due to boredom with the color;-) Love your videos! Thank you!

Tried Dazzle Dry and absolutely could not get it to look even decent. Anna at The Salon Life loves DD but admits there's a learning curve to use it. I'm going to try Olive and June soon. We'll see how it does.

It mustn't have been applied correctly if the DD chipped like that. I wash my hands a hundred times a day for my job and DD has never ever chipped in chunks like that. Have been using DD for 4 years. Maybe the nail prep wasn't used before you applied.

The technicians at the Nail Salon I used a couple of years ago went nuts over Dazzle Dry! That's all they kept talking about so I finally gave in - but I ordered a "sample" set - smaller than usual bottles of polish and I think there was another one bottle, perhaps a second one that was part of the procedure. Even small bottles and fewer of them was still a steep price so I just kept using it. Before all the product ran out, I finally paid more attention and realized my naked nails were in the worst shape they had been in many years - so I stopped using Drazzle Dry. The chemist did not produce such a wondrous product in my opinion. I would never even think f giving this brand a second chance - once bitten, twice shy! If you spring for this, watch very, very carefully!

There is a HUGE point to using Dazzle Dry over OLive and June that was completely overlooked, and is the biggest reason to use Dazzle Dry: it does NOT contain nitrocellulose, which breaks down after a short time and causes nail yellowing and nail damage!!! Your nails will never get that yellow staining from always wearing polish nor will they get surface damage!!! Dazzle Dry smokes the competition and is worth every single penny if you care about your nail health!!!

You only warm the basecoat if it gets cloudy. You use revive for polish and top coat. Top coat you roll to mix and polish you shake! kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZ6Qm6mkhtGEotk&si=Y21aOrJzZFeV4DNo
