Thank you! It has a nice structure already. Can’t wait to continue developing it over the years!

Hi, thank you for your video it's helpful. I just have a question please, I bought a olive plant 18 month ago, from that time growing up by few leafs only, the plant it self is only one stick.so What should I do to bring it to a healthy and more stick olive plant? Thank you.

I would recommend repotting it, giving it some fresh rich soil. Olive trees tend to sit around for awhile before putting on growth spurts. Hope that helps!

Good lookin root structure! I just found your channel and watched your bench/greenhouse tour. Is this the one that’s thriving or the one that’s hurting now?

Hey Bald Yeti! Thanks for subscribing! This is the one that is thriving. It just started pushing new growth last week and is doing very well!

Hey quick question, to turn it into a bonsai does it have to be a special olive tree species or can it be any kind of olive tree ?
@Backyard_Bonsai3 жыл бұрын
Great question! It can be any type of olive tree! Bonsai is just creating a miniature version of any type of tree.

Wouldn’t’ have been better to use wires to secure it in the pot?
@Backyard_Bonsai9 ай бұрын
If I was going to keep it outdoors in the wind, yes. They stay in a greenhouse so it’s not an issue. Plus it cuts down on cost and time, and no risk of wire marks on the roots.
