Oh god, I'm excately like that girl. Friend introduced me to kpop when PSY broke through back in 2012, I listened to all the big names in kpop during that period, went meh, Western music is still for me, was such a die hard Rih fan. Then when she made me listen to Blood Sweat Tears a few years later hoping she'll get me interested, and she did it I had to know more about BTS. A month later and I was listening to their stuff on repeat lol, now I know all their names. I feel bad that they're the only kpop group I listen to on repeat, my friend still introduces me to new groups, but I just really listen to BTS and mainstream western music lol. Hopefully I'll get time to visit South Korea this summer, want to see the culture and the band!

samed. way back in 2012 few of my classmates love kpop they literally know almost all the choreos and dancing and singing to it everytime that we dont have a class. They tried to get me to it and i was a huge justin bieber and ariana grande fan around that time and I just completely dismissed it because Im ignorant. They listened mostly to exo, bigbang psy super junior snsd and 2ne1. But then fast forward to late 2017 I got hooked to bigbang because of gdragon and then fast forward again to early 2018 I heard dna and I completely fell in love with them. at first i thought it was just a one time thing where i listened to few of their stuff and thats it because as i said im a huge fan of bieber and ari but then mic drop happened and I fell into this rabbit hole and just researched about them and i just fell in love not just with their music but their character and everything that they stand for. Because of them i am now learning the culture and everything about korea whether it'll be music or kdramas. I just feel bad tho because i can bring myself to be inlove with other groups as well. Yeah i listened to a couple but bts' music just really speaks to me and i dunno why but nobody can make me feel the way bts made me feel. I changed so much because of them. This would sound corny as hell but bts came into my life when I needed them the most perfect timing. I was depressed because my mom and my dad got divorced (2018) and my sister moved out and i have no one around to get me through stuff and then my ex was so abusive but because of my bts i realized my worth and finally broke up with him. thats why bts means so much to me than anyone can ever imagine. The place that bts have in my heart is huge. They made me whole again. Their music and their message is truly inspiring Sorry for my ted talk
