Many many moons ago I had the great privilege of seeing Oliver Samuels at the Hackney Empire. He was in a show called "Babylon Boops" (at least that's what my memory tells me it was called) and after the show he came and chatted with the audience. He came and sat with me and my then wife and chatted with us for a short while. A great comedian. Even though I struggled with the accent sometimes he never failed to make laugh. This airport episode was the one my wife made me watch to introduce me to Oliver. He still makes me smile. It reminds me of those days long ago in Hackney. 😊

I met Oliver Samuels many years ago at the Hackney Empire, he was in a show called Babylon Boops (if my memory serves me right)... After the show he came down into the audience and stood chatting with people. He came and joined my wife and I for a chat at our table towards the back....Lovely guy, very down to earth. My dear wife passed away in 2003 but she always remembered that night out. She was Jamaican British and she introduced me to his tv programme. Great memories.
