True Oliver. When I just came to live in Spanish town I used to go to attend the 2pm matinees on Saturdays. A wonderful experience then. Ward theatre is a treasure which the powers that be hardly values. All the businesses downtown ncluding vendors should get together and help renovate the place.

I watched these 2 kool comedians in the pantomime called TRASH in 1985 at the ward theatre. That was when I know Volier as Mafie. He also pushed a hand cart in The Harder They Come, 1972.

Mr. Samuels is correct as it relates to the Ward Theatre and the surroundings. The government should relocate people and rebuild the area to revitalize and ensure the rebirth of east, west, north and south parades! Plus the Park!!!
