Such a deep and layered song. At first glance it appears to about making money and stacking that shit as high as possible. On my second listen it's complexity starts to show and lyrics like "For a little bit of pay we work our lives away. You can't spend nothing when you're buried in a grave" and "Everything in life has a cost. For everything you gain there's everything you lost." Which is showing growth from the previous verses and saying something this world desperately needs to get on board with. Money doesn't equal happiness. It's more important to enjoy life rather then squander it for pennies. Life is to short to be a wage slave.
