Yes!!! Alfie is so right about english speaking people. Some always expect everyone to speak their language, even though they are in a country where people speak a whole different one. At my elementary school, and even a few years into high school I think, we had something at the beginning of our English classes called “silent reading”. Much like what Oliver was saying, we would bring a book with us to class everyday (likely whatever we had picked from the library at the beginning of the year), and would read it silently for the first 20 or so minutes of class, and I always liked English so it was one of my fav things :))
