I stumbled across this movie because I'm such a huge fan of Jack's acting. I recently got back from a trip from seeing my grandparents. My grandmother was diagnosed with dementia. She has unfortunately forgotten who I am as well as my father. Ironically I brought a Polaroid camera on the trip and knew to write, "Megan your granddaughter" on the back of the picture. This movie is really beautiful the way it was filmed, the mind is so complex. A lot of memories of my ex came up too when watching it. I think if the story tells us anything it's to not take life's precious moments for granted. They could be gone in a flash. Once again, beautiful acting. Well done.

Just watched their film and it definitely resonates, perhaps even amplified, by our global context. Their performances are both great and it's quite refreshing to have such an intimate, honest and authentic reflection from the film's leads and exec producer. Personally privileged to have turned down a move to USA from London, so not only was it comforting to identify with their sentiment (and their reluctance to adopt an accent), but even better when Jack stated he missed his pubs! I sincerely hope this film gets the recognition it deserves. Great work all round.

Fun story. This interview took place right after my interview with these two. I got an extra minute of footage at the end of my ‘junket chunk’ where Olivia asked to go to the loo, and Jack was making fun of her. Then Jack asked who’s next, and they mentioned Charles’ name and Brief Take. 😊 Love the Toronto based entertainment journalists out there together!!

During the movie I thought "It makes sense that Emma is attracted to Jude, because he carries himself like an English lad" and it turns out the actor is! His accent was great! Really amazing film.

I hope all of you find a good balance between opportunity and well-being. Having to relocate thousands of miles from home to be able to work consistently is a tough choice. Looking forward to seeing "Little Fish".

Not a lot of people that I know are upbeat atm, so it's not that surprising to see someone like Jack appear to be a little depressed.

He's an introvert, and he doesn't like new people not because he's not sweet or kind but it just takes him more time to open up and when you have 10 minutes to talk to someone you don't know, especially if it's your own deep, artistic process it just takes allot of energy so he's more quiet. I don't think he's depressed, he was laughing and smiling and engaging, he just needs some patience. I love him deeply.
