Olivia de Havilland is still in my book one of the finest and sensitive actresses who projects her emotions so clearly that one feels her pain and heartache. Especially when she played the part of a mother wanting happiness for her daughter, Yvette Mimieux in the movie, "Light In the Piazza" with Rossano Brazzi. Also, many of her movies from the 30s and 40s were excellent vehicles for her to play such incredible women.

I am a man I was born in 1976 I saw Olivie de Havilland for the first time in the movie Captain Blood from 1935. Her appearance in the film was not only the appearance of an excellent actress but also an amazing beautiful girl when she was 19 years old she was young and beautiful actually hypnotized me You can it was possible to fall in love with her without memory at first sight. This film, due to her amazing beauty, not only spiritual, but also beauty, was deep in the mine mind. As soon as the news of her death appeared, I immediately remembered her actor creation in this film. Every day when I turn on my computer I log on to IMDb to see that she is alive. Well today she is 101 4 months and 7 days. I have all her movies with Errol and my fav. is Robin Hood an The died with their boots on! Many great pictures lights up my living room, and that golden era from 30-60's is phenomenal! Always Grande yet Delicate...I like her as Melanie to this day. 1:40 it seemed unique to me that for all her consistency and solid sense of self she like to try on other women.. of course this could be just the nature of any actress.
