Didn’t see the movie...but nice to see Jacob Tremblay still being a REGULAR KID & not getting caught up in “Hollyweird!” (God Bless You, Mr & Mrs Tremblay! 😇)

I'm glad she at least had Jacob for promo, disappointed that the rest of the cast aren't supporting her.

Do you blame them, she is either a basket case or publicity hungry!!! A convicted individual from 10 years ago, that served time in PRISON and was only charged for an E-MAIL, never laid hand on a child, It was wrong and he admitted that, is lumped with someone who “hurts children and animals.” So before she works she needs a background check on everyone on the set, otherwise she will potentially destroy everyone the director, producers, actors who don't support her, other people on the set (if they go digging in their past) and will give the movie a bad press. Seriously I will not go see the movie now. I would never hire her, who needs that headache!

@@jomangeee HUH? He was cast in a movie that features a child IN THE MAIN CAST!!! The child you are literally looking at on the screen. In what world is calling out a guy who has shown signs of being a pedo being cast in the same movie as a kid a bad thing.
@jomangeee6 жыл бұрын
What parallel universe are you living in? She did not make that excuse, what she said and I quote "Ultimately, Munn’s objection to Striegel’s appearance in the film had less to do with his past than with the fact that she wasn’t given the opportunity to make an informed decision about whether or not to work with him" So I repeat before she works she needs a background check on everyone on the set, and add to that their ethnicity, marital status, sexual preference, eating habits, otherwise she might later get offended!! What a flake
@serenaistheb.o.a.t6 жыл бұрын
@@jomangeee Considering you are supposed to have a full background check if you want to work near children in ANY PROFESSION I fully agree with her. What gives anyone the right to cast a registered sex offender in a film that features a child actor and not tell anyone (including the parents of the child actor.)
@jomangeee6 жыл бұрын
Reality check the child's parent did not complain, She complained. Not on behalf of the child but herself. Your argument is weak, otherwise you would not bring in the child actor into this, she did not!! She is a nut case I would not touch her with a nine foot pole (figuratively)

Imagine that guy was trying to get your 14 year old female relative into a relationship. Would you want people to know what type of person he is, especially if they were going to work with him? She was right. No matter what you think of her.

She didn't stop a crime she held up a guy's career and a movie because of her inability to separate two issues. Is she going to try to get every actor who ever committed a crime fired? How about Danny Trejo?

You can hunt for sport and still be a predator. I mean, a housecat can kill a mouse for ya and bring it to you, as a present, but it's still an active predator by definition. The Predators are carnivorous, and we know this from the movies (P2 specifically), so obviously, if you consume flesh, then you're going to have to hunt and kill prey items. Etymologically speaking, a predator is a plunderer, and predation is the act of plundering or pillaging, robbing or preying. I think that what the Predators do falls within the parameters of the range of meanings for the word 'predator'. So the name/term is pretty on point, Olivia Munn's sister! Stop being a smart ass, cause now that fallacious statement of hers is in the movie. The movie is absolutely horrendous, from what I've heard. I've heard such negative reviews by people who know the Predator franchise, that I don't know if I even want to see the film. Shane Black's overrated, and from what I've heard, this movie's just a mess, and shits all over the lore of the franchise.

So from what I've been able to research years ago some actor is convicted for having or trying to have sex with an underage girl, gets caught, goes to jail. He does his time and is released. Black, wanting to give his friend a second chance gives the guy work. Then when it comes to The Predator Olivia Munn finds out, overreacts and reports him to the studio so they can cut his scene because she thinks it will become more watchable as it won't have a scene which she has now 'explained' to everybody originally had a convicted sex offender. Some questions: Why is Olivia Munn now suddenly vetting cast members who work in movies she's in? Also unless the guy is guilty of recently stalking underage girls shouldn't be like be given a second chance? I mean what he did was disgraceful and disgusting but if he's prepared to move on with his life shouldn't an ex-con still be allowed work? Maybe Munn thought she was doing the world of social justice a big favour ("the lions, tigers, bears, oh my!") but she's now ruined that guy's career and probably life. This raises another question: if this is allowed does this mean that every single ex-con who's worked on a movie should be ousted and have their scenes removed? What about RDJ? I wonder how many more careers can be unnecessarily ruined to keep people's safe spaces. I don't think Munn or anybody working at that studio really thought this through which is a clear problem of society today unfortunately...
@m.yrab13434o6 жыл бұрын
RDJ went to jail for drug abuse while the other one is an actual sexual predator? Why compare two completely different crimes? And why the fuck should that convicted offender be allowed on a movie with a child actor! How do you think the child’s parent felt when they found out that their child was in a movie alongside a convicted sexual offender?
@thevoid-z6t6 жыл бұрын
There’s a child in the movie. It wasn’t a mistake. He is on the sex offender registry.
@pferreira19836 жыл бұрын
@Mayra Be pech Yeah no doubt the cast and crew should have known about this but why wait till a week or so before the film's release to complain? Also sex predator or drug addict neither are safe around children yet the latter are allowed jobs so yeah... @K Stalking me? So no different to this guy I'm talking about then you twat! @Christopher White So they aren't allowed work then? Does that make sense to an intelligent person? @Helen Griffin No it may have no been a mistake since the casting supervisor would have to have done some actual research into who they were hiring. That raises questions like those I am asking.
