No one else could have delivered these songs like her. So much feeling and so beautiful even today. I’m really sad she (and I feel like part of my childhood) is gone. Luckily these songs will last forever. Thank you thank you thank you Olivia. 😢😢

It is absolutely incredible to me how genius the writers of this score were. They took the pure essence of the nostalgia of the ‘50s and spun it into a timeless yet smash-hit contemporary score that cemented itself as an American classic, as much a part of the time it represents as T-Birds and bobbi socks. Olivia is a shining star too, it’s just beautifully executed all around
@KurtI25252 жыл бұрын
Excellent insight. The title song, Grease, by Frankie Valli is pure disco (Barry Gibb penned), and yet it fits the movie perfectly and I think part of it is the chord structure which has a bit of a melancholy feel.

Rest In Peace Olivia Newton-John. This world is simply too cruel sometimes. We're all hopelessly devoted to you... Rest In Peace Darling.

No comment could *Ever* give justice to this, our Queen of the 70's that left a void that *Nobody* could (Ever) fill. To say that Olivia had a _Unique & Striking_ Voice would be an understatement but I've got to bloody say something about the girl!
