Honestly! Since Olivia always had a most Special place actually in my heart,she had well still has a most beautiful Spirit... and since Spirits live on~ and she certainly is in heaven but when she crossed over( died) I actually mourned her,and it took me like 2 months to listen to her music or watch a movie which she played in( making note here that up until her crossing over I played her music all the time) I just actually felt a heart felt loss God bless her loving family now and always❤

...i think it's safe to say "Making A Good Thing...." (the LP) got a REAL bad rep; NO promotion during it's Summer 1977 release, ONJ was arguing with MCA at the time, & 'Livvie was growing out of 'Country Pop' sound....Thank GOD she chose to film "Grease" during this LP's release!! (cont.) ...The LP had some stellar moments, but it was clearly a 'transitional' LP..... The title track has some Disco / R&B flourishes, & bigger 'sound'....NOW, her rendition of "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" outshines the whole Album, for new listeners.... This track should've gotten some AC play....Oh, well.....

Thank you for this history on this . I had forgot it collided with Grease . I only remember that Soul Kiss was when I either outgrew ONJ or had to age to understand the rest of her career which I am just now revisiting with joy and appreciation .
