Yeah dude give us an update! Sounds cheesy but I used to play bass a lot n honestly re watching adventure time has sparked the track for me. Seeing the simple bass line solos / singing Marceline shows in the show gives me hope n reminds me that not everything had to be technical to be beautiful

could somebody very kindly explain the hammer-on technique at 0:09? do we pick the 5th fret followed very quickly by a hammer-on on the 7th fret? when I do that it just sounds very disjointed help please

It's a trill I'm pretty sure, but yeah you play 5 and hammer on to 7. It may sound disjointed because your finger doesn't have enough strength, but if you practice hammer ons and trills it'll sound better. Hope this helps!!

It's like a grace note. it doesn't change the number of beats in the measure, so you just play it quickly. I do it on my flute, but I'm just assuming for guitar you hammer-down or pull-off quickly to get it.

late reply, but basically you just slide from that fret. If the smaller number is in front if the large number, you start on that fret and quickly slide to the large number. If the smaller number is to the right of the large number, you play the large one and quickly slide to the smaller one. Hope this makes sense

Tabs are cool and all but if we can see WHEN you choose to change the tabs that would be better. it just slows the learning.
