Great react, Zoe.. You could watch to another Olivia’s song from about a year ago and analyze her evolution.. sorry my english! Hugs from Brazil! This is already the best 2021 song!

Thank you so much! I am definitely going to take a look at her earlier music. I LOVE to see the growth artists make over time. It stops us from thinking that they came fully formed out of the womb! ;) Not a problem at all, your English is great! Hugs from Germany.

I'm just curious what your thoughts are on the EXPLOSIVE RISE from Disney+ Actor (famous) to legit (GLOBAL ICON) artist that transcends from hype to legendary artist that will most likely go into the Library of Congress? Winning Grammies, AMA, Brit Award, Time Magazine, 60 Minutes, etc. It may to too soon to say, but she has the trajectory to speak next to names like Judy Garland, Julie Andrews, Joan Jett, Celion Dion, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, etc., somebody that influences an entire culture. It just boggles my mind that for most people, being the lead on a Disney+ show is the peak of their human experience, and yet with Ms. Olivia, Disney+ was just a stepping stone to being something more significant.

Hi Ger! Wow that is definitely a very big Kettle of fish to tackle here. I think a lot of it has to do with her parents because I have been reading about them and they basically move their lives to where Olivia was getting her jobs. I think as much as we can attribute the success to Olivia herself the support system around a young performer is often overlooked but so incredibly important. She also obviously has an incredible management team who are guiding her along the way And I think she also has an excellent writing partner which makes it all the more better to write hit songs. Of course it is a lot of hard work and determination but at the end of the day we can't deny that there is a certain amount of being in the right place at the right time in the right decade. She came along at a time when we are being flooded with young copies of Billie Eilish and her style is new upbeat and very poppy and comparison. Just a really good mix of young Teenage punk pop. 😀

Do you maybe know why the song is so addicting? X

Vocals , the story, the beautiful and heartbreaking lyrics , instrumental etc lmao

I think it is because it resonates with so many people. The themes but also the way in which she comes from the quiet intro to suck you in and then into the chorus / second verse there is that driving bass. The break down for the "I just fucking love you " really breaks up the whole thing. Excellent songwriting is what does it.
