Ladies, once again you are AMAZING!!! This was well performed, and the arrangement was on the spot. No matter who is in the group, I’m always stunned when you put out a song. NEVER. CHANGE. THAT. ATTITUDE!!! Side note: BYU Noteworthy for the last two years has been part of the soundtrack of my life and my eventual conversion to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Be it secular or Christian, they have been there in the background during my studies of scriptures (Vocal Point as well, along with DC Talk, Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, Bon Jovi, Meghan Trainor, Mozart, Toby Keith and others). I love Noteworthy’s versions of ‘I can Only Imagine’ as much as “Somewhere over the Rainbow’ and ‘Castles’. I don’t remember either of those last two songs receiving flak from folks. Just because they do Christian and secular doesn’t mean they can’t get Heavenly Father’s message across…nor does it make them any less talented. And as a former musician (many years ago than I care to admit), I’ve been in groups that performed music from the Medieval and Renaissance eras. Trust me, if you translate some of those songs out of the Latin into modern English, some of you would be shocked and red-faced. Yet, I see no one pointing this out to various choral groups that perform this music in chapels…be it BYU or St. Olaf choirs. People love to hear the classics as well as the modern (no matter the language)...and Heavenly Father can work with all musicians and all music types. This Olivia Rodrigo Medley was very tame, trust me on this one. In short, let Noteworthy do their thing because they’re REALLY good at it (better than I ever was). Once again, Brava, ladies, BRAVA!!! Keep up the excellent work. (Also, sorry about the length of this…just wanted to make my point).

It sounded great, except for the slightly awkward transitions from one song to the next. I like it better when they flow into each other and it's hard to tell where one ended and the next took over.

If you listen closely, the end of each segment is the same note or progression as the song after it, and I actually loved it because it built into the seamless transition of the mashup at the end. I loved that they had three segments for three individual songs and a new theme for each while still tying them together. These girls are so dang good lol!

"Good" is subjective when it comes to music. I also really enjoy their Christian based songs, but I think it's wonderful that Noteworthy is performing music that will draw in a large audience. Then that large audience will find it's way to the faith based songs and one of Noteworthy's missions will be accomplished.
