She never villainized other girls though, on the contrary. Look at Happier for example: "she's so sweet, she's so pretty" and "she's beautiful, she looks kind, she probably gives you butterflies". Or in Jealousy Jealousy where she says "i know their beauty's not my lack". And in other heartbreak songs she never mentions the girl, she's always addressing the guy.

He’s an incredible interviewer. Do they know each other? He’s very empathetic and seems to have a great relationship with her. I really enjoyed this and learned personal things about Olivia in a way that felt natural and not invasive.

I first fully watched one of his interviews when he interviewed Taylor Swift back in 2020 about folklore/evermore and even though it was a 1 hour interview it didn't seem like it. His questions are always great and he really knows how to dig deep into the artist's emotions and pov.

It's interesting to hear Olivia draw a few contrasts between New York and L.A., regarding some of her contact experiences. She says its easier to "blend in" in New York, and the conversions are more "no hold barred" and "organic and spontaneous." She seems to like the very direct and unfiltered contact with people. Perhaps, in part, she feels that she has a lot of learning to gain there, and her new home environment will help strengthen her development as a person, and, subsequently, as a writer.
