Before Don't Worry Darling, even has a chance to woo its audience it was embroiled in all sorts of controversy thanks to its director Olivia Wilde and her comments regarding the firing of Shia LaBeouf as well as villainous comparisons with Jordan Peterson and how he is the hero of the Incel community. The movie itself is not great, but unfortunately, it's also promoting a pretty terrible message.
In this video, I dive into the drama as well as why Jordan Peterson and Shia LaBeouf got dragged into some intense virtue signaling.

Have you ever noticed how celebrities will start dating those they are making movies with? Often times, its for publicity. If you pay attention, they usually break up after the movie comes out and bombs. Ben Affleck and JLO, did this back in the early 2000s, with her stupid woke film Gigli. Harry Styles isn't very bright so the kid probably thought this crazy lady actually liked him......lol

Exactly! The same system that made her rich and famous. I have a hard time believing she’s not aware that this “system” has been very advantageous to her. If we assume she knows this - then that means she’s knowingly and intentionally just catering to her audience - young brainwashed women, while at the same time, rustling feathers. It’s good, free marketing.

She's a mole. A worm tongue sort of figure. She takes what - she thinks - our current society looks like, and paints it in an apparent positive light - She does this by contrasting it with a worse dystopia that exists only in her own head. Well she's a 'Woke' Female Narcissist. Hollywood is a hotbed of Narcissist Personality Disorder. The 'Woke Mind Virus' is Narcissism. So like all Narcs, she'll have Zero Self-Awareness...which leads to her 'Projecting' her own negative flaws (ie gender-based toxicity, bigotry and supremacy - Female Narcs are literal supremacists). All the Covert Narcissists and 'Flying Monkeys' of the Woke movement have these two narcissist traits. All the other traits too! It's a pity the world doesn't study 'Cluster B' personality disorders. Harry Styles is your classic thick Grandiose Narcissist too, his 'Flying Monkeys' will protect him from criticism though.

She has a shady past in terms of the people she’s been associated with. I’m watching this to see if her Weinstein friendship was mentioned. (No, none of the following.) His behavior was an open secret in Hollywood (joked about in TV shows and award programs) and she only distanced herself from him after the Ronan expose and even then hers was a delayed response. A real feminist wouldn’t be kissy face / close with him for all those years (she can’t have not known). She was also name dropped in an allegation about Weinstein (two years before the expose)-Weinstein trying to get a model (who wanted to go into acting) into bed proposed a 3-some with the two of them and Wilde. Why Wilde? And then, the hiring of Nick Kroll when his father’s firm worked to silence Weinstein’s victims? Um, no. Too close an association for comfort. Surely there were other actors good for the role if she cares about women so much. She praises Keidis from the Red Hot Chili Peppers whenever even after his auto-biography where he brags about statutory rape of a 14 year old girl. What sort of feminist does that? (A fake one, a feminist of convenience, one who uses feminism like she uses everything else to get what she wants.) And let’s not forget her close friend Paul Haggis, who was arrested for rape this year (with multiple allegations against him). She served on a board with him of a charity he started. Perhaps she didn’t know about Haggis, but she had to know about Weinstein, Kroll, and Keidis. Too much to be explained away if you ask me. She’s a pathological liar and an opportunist. She uses feminism to excuse herself of her own bad behavior. She’s just a user all the way around.

Great analyse! I’m a 53 year old single mother and Dr Peterson is my powerhouse. I used to feel shame for not having a career but since I read his books and follow his talks I’m proud of my place in life, he also made me realize why I was too agreeable, to take my place, put my limits, how proud I am of the daughters I raised and their humility, how virtuous they are. Tammy also made me closer to god, thankful for life, brave to recover from illness, Jordan helped me understand my ptsd and gave me hope. It became cliche but he saved my life, in 2016 I began watching him and I felt suicidal from abuse flashbacks, poverty, deep sadness. Nowadays, listening to him is a reassuring presence and I don’t care what people say or think about me, I know who I am. My daughters are confident and strong, the youngest is now 16 and she has such good values, she stands out and other kids refer to her like a little life coach. She isn’t in a hurry to burn stages or give herself to please a boy. Dr Peterson empowered me and my girls.

This video really spoke to me. Especially two bits: the part at the end from Peterson where he got enotional discussing lonesome, depressed belittle men who dont know what to do and the part with the author talking about the sex revolution. To the first part, I remember seveal years ago, a story in the news of a freshman college student, rich but not particularly good looking who taped a 15 minute rant about his struggles in the dating world. He did this moments before he lashed out and killed multiple people. I remember watching that video and wishing I had been there to tell him that everything he thought about women was totally wrong, and to SHOW him this so that maybe he wouldnt have gone on this rampage. these are the people Peterson is targeting to help. THESE are the people Wilde is targeting with her incel comment. We keep beating people donw and than wondering why they get angry and lash out on the world. To the second part, it just hot home so much. Im only 28 but ive always been mature for my age. I was the only person I knew who wantednto wait until I was married to have sex. I struggled for years trying to find a man with the same values. It was so difficult and finally I just gave in and slept with a person I liked but who really didnt want a future with me. Ive regretted it ever since but zi k ow ot wont get any easier. It disgusts me that every man that you date will expect you to sleep with him. So you might be genuinely trying to meet the love of your life but if each one doesnt work out you have to start from scratch. I wanted my body count to be "0" and now its already two because they leave almost immediately if you dont have sex with them. I agree with everything that author said and I would love to read her book because Im sick of walking alone with these "archaic" Ideals through life and feeling lonely and odd co.pared to everyone else. The west's obsession with sexual freedom I believe is the downfall of our society. Ots led to at least half of the social issues we all lement today.

What strikes me as very odd is that Wilde is accusing the patriarchy as mean and deceitful and yet here she is running this $40 million production. Then she's using this production to shield her personal affair with Styles from her fiance and children, came up with excuses for her family not to come on set, didn't show up on set to direct for several days, lied about the reasons Shia LaBeouf quit the production, etc. So Wilde has learned the means to use movie productions to get away with deceitful things Also, on the Shia situation, I truly believe she wanted a fling with him and Shia wouldn't budge. @Krazynssky you have completely misunderstood my feelings but what can I expect lol. My point isnt to try and be so called psuedo 'feminist' and shit. My basic point is that for a person so seemingly immovable, you see a vulnerable side of theirs and you realise that they genuinely care for a particular community. Doesn't matter whether it's a man or woman or non binary or transgender. And the truth is people have been after his life and he's always had to put on a tough demeanour and take a strong stance, but here you see a different side of him realising that he genuinely cares and not cuz he's merely trying to win a debate. Hope that explains it for you and try and understand what a person is saying before attacking them with such comments and making assumptions about what they're saying. Thank you🙂

Good point but screenwriters are almost NEVER mentioned in filmmaking unless they are a celebrity in their own right. Plus, screenwriters only keep their credits if there are less than 3 writers working on the script since their original draft. If they’re not credited for the script, no one is going to credit them for writing it. That’s just how the industry works. I’m a writer, so this pains me to say, but no one cares about the writers in the film/tv industry.

I'm a 34 year old woman (who runs my own business and has no plans of marriage or children) who absolutely loves Jordan Peterson and gets a lot out of his lectures. I can listen to him discuss roles of men and woman etc without getting upset and defensive. I live my life the way that is right for ME personally, because only I know how to do that, but I can still agree with his views on roles in society as a whole. I just love to listen to him talk about anything, he truly has a great mind and his answers are always so well thought out and articulated. I particularly like the way he handles conflict or to a lesser degree a difference of opinion. He never people pleases and says EXACTLY what he thinks regardless of the outcome and that is so Nobel and shows true integrity (and its bloody hard to do) It's a blessing to be able to learn from people who know more about a topic than you do. Any who call him misogynistic are simply repeating a narrative they heard and have not ever sat down and actually LISTENED to him which is a shame for them. Lastly, the clip at the end - watch how Jordan's face changes when pierce Morgan (hypocrite) calls those men 'weirdo loners' ...THIS is exactly the thing that DOESNT HELP THEM and the emotion Jordan expresses after that comment makes it so clear that he is sick of the way people lack understanding and perpetuate these problems. When Jordan looked him dead in the eye and said 'SURE, WHY NOT' I couldn't have loved him more haha.

If he is found guilty, I hope he goes to jail or pays whatever he needs to. I'm rooting for this man to recover from the sh*t of his past, just as I rooted for Britney Spears. This is the best outcome for someone who was abused as a child. He was wrong, but he's trying to fix it. I honestly don't understand why Olivia said such a lie, but my guess is that she knew that Shia was and is still in recovery and gave him a chance because she most likely had known him for years (and wanted to be the director that gave him a stellar comeback), and then when things didn't go the way she wanted, she changed the narrative to make herself look like a feminist sister who cares about women in a film about "women empowerment". On top of that, the things she has said and done about her divorce are just... questionable, and makes me wonder if she is the one that has been having a problematic attitude all this time. Idk, I just don't like her. And the "miss flo" thing 😂😂😂 like wtf Olivia.

Jordan Peterson’s approach towards helping men, urging them to consider their own agency and better themselves in order to change their own lives and outcomes seems to me, to be the most empathetic approach you can take without indulging their more selfish impulses. I also find him to be more real than most people, which is so clear from the last clip, it broke my heart and says everything about him and what a beautiful person he is. People are so adamant on putting others in a negative light (especially those who actually try to change the world in a positive way) and polarize by misrepresenting people and their views, it's really sad. And wanting men to be better but not allowing them to do better or redeem themselves or believe whatever positive there is to say about men is beyond baffling to me. Olivia Wilde, or rather Olivia Jane Cockburn (her real name), went as far as giving away the family dog around the same time that she abandoned her husband and children .....The dog was a beautiful golden retriever that her children probably loved. She gave it to the dog- walker she employed to walk the dog, as she "didn't want to be responsible for the dog when she was spending the night at harry's place" Apparently the dog walker loved the dog so much, they jumped at the chance to take him. So before Inceldom became a mainstream word and their communities were broken up I used to browse incel threads out of curiosity (I'm happily married and not at all part of the community) and so I can tell you that Olivia Wilde has no idea who or what incels are. The "nice guy" meme doesn't represent the majority of them and they are not mostly white men. From my experience, the majority of them are actually brown, Asian, or black and a common talking point for them was that because whiteness is considered more attractive in western societies than other ethnicities white men have a leg up. Most of these guys also are tremendously depressed, have very little self-worth and think of themselves as being hideous. Some of them recognize that these perceptions cement their inceldom as it corrodes their confidence and makes them more socially awkward than they already were. Some of them aren't even necessarily physically unattractive but they have abysmal social skills often due to being shy as young children which snowballed into them being social outcasts all their life. They don't have friends, they don't know how to interact with people and they are lonely. Yes, for a lot of them this leads to resentment of the opposite sex as they feel they have never been given a chance but it's not limited to the opposite sex. The chad meme comes from the same community and though it's been twisted now to mean a guy that's awesome it originally referred to their bullies. Dumb attractive guys that are accepted by everyone, get all the girls and treated them like garbage for no reason. I'll point out here that "Chad" is a name from White American culture, so again you can see the resentment of white people.

Huh. I appreciate you sharing that insight, I guess I had also been misled in favor of the stereotype. I feel badly for them, but....well, I don't know. I'm a former model, but by society's standards I'm not worth much anymore, married and pregnant with my third child (an adopted embryo, for that matter). But honestly, if society disapproves, I'm probably getting something right lol but I digress. I still have an instinct to keep my distance from those guys, sorry as I may feel for them. Because I've found that if I show them kindness or empathy, they just glom on and read way, WAY too far into what I'm putting out there. It's really unfortunate, because it also perpetuates the cycle. I have to be, at best, friendly but distant. Which is of course interpreted as I don't like their looks, or their lack or money, or whatever. Whereas it's actually just a self-preservation thing, based on past cringe experiences (I won't elaborate, it's just too bad is all).

By they are so filled with self loathing that it is impossible for them to even consider it. Also porn, since they can’t get the real thing porn becomes there outlet, but we all know what it does to our mental health, making men think there small when there actually average etc.

I was in the most literal sense, involuntarily celibate. I'd experienced sexual abuse by girls as a teenager, had a break down and resurgence of memories at 25, and suffered crippling genophobia; fear of sex. In my case, I genuinely believed that if I so much as touched a woman, I'd be an abuser, I used to wear long trousers in summer, would only swim wearing a shirt and would flinch at any sign of affection. I had a lot of female friends, but always assumed I! was the problem, that there was something intrinsically wrong with me. Fortunately, all this changed thanks to meeting my lady in 2015 when I was 33, my lady who is now my wife, and will continue to be so as long as we both live. I genuinely struggle with the misandry of films like don't worry darling, and indeed the world generally. Misandry underpinned a lot of my abuse, and it feels like these days, people want to put me back in that box, something I'd not wish on anyone! Indeed up until I met my lady I principally thought of being male as a negative state myself. So yeah, thanks for the video calling out the misandry and taking these people to task! Also, I should definitely check out more of Jordan Peterson's work, since he's a name that keeps coming up.

Peterson getting emotional at the end for being the voice of a marginalised group of men is utterly heartbreaking. He continues in that interview talking how many young men take their lives for want of an encouraging word. Young men do need to focus on being better but not for the sake of attracting a woman; young men need to focus on their own self worth, for themselves, rather than for the sake of being considered worthy by another. Wish I knew how to make that happen. The best thing a man who has been helped by Peterson can do is be a Peterson to others. Thanks for this video.

It's so wild to me that people demonize him when every time I've listened to him I've been thankful he has such an audience with young men. Who has this idea? Where are you getting this idea? I never had kids, I always worked, and I’ve never thought this about stay at home moms. I think people ought to do what is best for them and their families. There are opportunity costs for staying home and for not staying home (depending on what’s measured and the risks involved). I think it’s brave to stay at home given the risks. If I’d had kids, I’d likely have weighed the risks and stayed home.

The other weirdness in the movie is that in the real world, the husband can't get a job, presumably because he's lazy... so he works ten times as hard to secretly care for himself and his wife while removing her from her job all in an enterprise that pays nothing at all. It just doesn't add up. Wilde needed him to be a loser, but to make the movie work he has to be a dedicated, meticulous, hard-working loser who is independently wealthy.

100%, Nick Rekieta mentioned this as well. In that Morgan interview, he almost scoffs at Wilde's mischaracterisation of him, but then his face drops when Morgan starts calling these young men "despicable weirdos" etc. Jordan really cares for them and their predicament, and all he gets in return is abuse and demonisation. @@ab-gail That's because when gynocentric "venusians" say they want "martians" to be emotional what they really mean is that they want "martians" to be emotional like them (child minded/conditioned "venusians"). The main reason they want this is so a) they don't have to deal with the complexity of talking or trying to understand/empathize with someone who thinks differently than them and b) have a "martian" available for them to use as an emotional outlet for them to unload their unresolved emotional issues on without the fear of being judged or having the man point out any inconsistencies or logical fallacy (like "venusians" do with each other) and without having to show appreciation to the "martian for it" or without having to be expected to give/do something of equal value for that "martian" in return. And they trash "martians" when they show emotions because seeing "martians" beeing screwed and be miserable in every way makes them feel special and important since it gives them a sense of superiority just for being of the other sx. This is because they think it is "justice" for the bad stuf other "venusias" went through in some other parts of history showing their lack of individuality and that their entire personality begins and ends with their gndr. They relish and enjoy "martians" suffering and going through problems to the point that they need to see them suffer and be ignored because it makes them feel even more superior for just being a "venusian" due to the narcissistic and above all predatory mentality they've been conditioned to have.

I am a 32 yo w and Mr. Peterson have helped me tremendously. I was raised in chaos and could only find "weak" suitors. I have bettered myself and found self respect and now I no longer spread my legs to anyone who pays me a compliment. I do feel for the weak still, but it's not my job to fix them. I can have compassion and love without getting sucked into chaos again. I can be competent without sabotaging myself. I can keep a clean house and find joy in making it beautiful around me. I feel I have tapped more into my femininity listening to him. Even though I find myself more assertive, it's like I have become softer at the same time. I actually like who I am. I have become more stable. I used to fly off the handle and become dysregulated by someone looking at me funny. Now they can throw insults at me and accuse me of things I know are wrong and I don't have to win them over. They can think what they like. I know who I am and just remove myself if they won't listen and can't even be constructive. I really love this man. I have never met him and probably never will, but my love for him and his whole family is moving me to tears just writing about it. I pray for them regularly.

When speaking of people like Shia I can't help but think about a little saying about a suit of armor (as nerdy as that may be). If you were to choose someone to defend your life, would you choose a man wearing some shinny, undented armor, or a man wearing some worn, dented, scarred armor that carries the tales of several battles, yet is still alive and willing to don said armor? I would choose the one with the dented armor, he has experienced battle, fought foes, learned lessons that the clean armored man can only imagine... the "Knight In Shinning Armor" is simply untested metal. Everyone in life meets their breaking point at some time or another. For some, it is something not as significant as others might encounter, however, is capable of breaking them just the same. Some people overcome this tragedy, either with cash, social standing, or some other blessing. The rest of us break, totally and completely. The ones that break and are able to put themselves back together, better yet, who are able to improve from their failure and turn it into something to grow from, those are the ones that history rights about, and the names that will be spoken by our kind far after they leave this life. I hope to see Shia rise...

Jordan Peterson helped me get my life together. I’m a stay at home Mom who felt guilty and embarrassed of my decision to stay home for a long time. It was also hard because I like work too and I believed that I’d made a permanent decision in staying home. At one point I heard him describe that depressed people might be undereducated and I knew that was me. When I heard him talk about women regretting a high powered job with no room for children or women who’d made it to the top quitting to be with children I knew that was me too. I got myself together and buckled down into being the best stay at home Mom I could be AND made plans to go back to school once they were old enough to be in school. It pumped passion back into my life. My family IS my priority and I do not desire I high powered job, just meaningful work. So I focused on the meaning of my children and planned for when they would no longer need as much of my attention and eventually leave home. Starting grad school in January to study as a marriage and family counselor:) He’s pretty inspirational as a therapist too. I don’t know why we don’t discuss this as an option more though-being a mother young and having a career later. It’s the best way to have both for those who do. The only thing preventing it is societal expectations and refusal to take women seriously who have spent time at home-and liberal people can be some of the worst at that.

She does have a point with regards to the chaos that order can create or be predicated upon which he himself points out to in the follow up book "beyond order" but the fact that he was willing to challenge the possible consequences of order should tell her how devoted he is to being unbiased but she's clearly Ill informed and just saw the opportunity to creatively prop up her own ideas of what it is she think he's saying whilst trying to make the public believe that one person is responsible for incel cutlure and that the person is a male and that its him. She then ends her story off on a note of contrast between men and women and that should definitely tell everyone more about her.
