Hey Olivia, I've been watching your vinyl content for a while now and I just wanted to say that you should consider taking some of your vinyl out of the shrink. Last year, I learned that shrinkwrap shrinks over time and can cause serious damage to your vinyl. It can either warp your vinyl severely or even break them.

@@samuelsmoak2541 I have heard this too! Thats why I try to remove the wrap on 90% of my records but signed or super limited ones I like the leave sealed as I’ll never play them. I do know storage and temperature also has an effect so thankfully I have that under control in my office and I think can help avoid future damage. Now that I know how to transfer hype stickers too I typically always open my records!! This was the sole reason I used to leave so many in the shrink or sealed to begin with. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and kindness in this comment. 🖤

Hi Olivia ! Nice to just get the signatures & avoid having them personalized as that greatly diminishes the resale value down the line. Some artists will only sign merchandise with a To ..The person requesting the autograph as they don't like the flippers online who buy autographed merch & then sell it at huge mark-up. I like to get an 8X10 photo or poster personalized on occasion. Take Care !

Signed albums I have: CODE ORANGE - "Underneath" (The Album Release Show pressing) THE OCEAN - Their complete discography. I had their first 5 albums (Aeolian, Fluxion, Precambrian, Heliocentric and Anthropocentric) on CD and vinyl BEFORE I saw them live in November 2022, but I brought them to the show and got them signed along with my vinyl copies of Pelagial, Phanerozoic I and Phanerozoic II that I bought at their merch table after the show. AUGUST BURNS RED - Phantom Anthem I couldn't do anything about where the Code Orange and August Burns Red albums were signed because I bought them on Discogs, but I INSISTED The Ocean sign THE BACKS of my copies of their albums. I don't like and haven't ever liked signatures on the cover because they disrupt the artwork.

I get so annoyed when the artists' merch shop mislabels an Autographed INSERT as a signed vinyl because I do not want to open my autographed vinyls. I buy those pieces of vinyl to collect and a regular copy to play. I love this kind of content and would like to see some of your favorite variant pressings because I enjoy the colorways you have displayed in previous content when unboxing.

I personally like the signed inserts because I can frame them or keep them and still use the vinyl/cd. I wouldn't use a signed vinyl/cd because I would be afraid of damage the album or the signatures😱 But I definitely don't like the inserts that are just copies, when the artist signs one insert and then they just make copies of that one. I think it's kind of impersonal compared to when the artist takes the time to sign them all one by one in person and you get and actual signature.
