from what i've heard picture discs were really just meant for framing! since the way theyre manufactured leaves the record with a lesser sound quality! they can still be played and dont sound bad or terrible but they wear out quicker than normal vinyl so there's no shame in just buying the picture discs if you just wanted to frame em!

That's usually a radio vinyl record when it says promotional or when they give them out back in the day the record stores would get those early before they sell them to play in the store

I've had my eye on the Lana record, might get it soon. I was wondering how you clean you records themselves, do you have a certain routine?

I have an anti Static brush I use when I see dust or hair fibers that the vinyl may attract from static when removing them from their sleeves! The brand for that brush is "Vinyl Style". As for fully cleaning my records if there are scratches or "built up debre" (common on old records) I use my "RCA Dishwasher" brush in one direction as the arrow on the brush shows with a vinyl cleaning solution! I also store all my records in vinyl protector sleeves, you can buy these in 50-200 packs on Amazon, just to help keep dust out & protect the sleeves from any shelf damage when taking them down to play! Hope this helps you out!! Hope you get your lana record too :)

pro tip... make sure the seller takes the vinyl out of its sleeve before shipping.. that way it doesnt break the sleeve while shuffeling around.

What you can always do, is frame the cover and take out the record out so you can do both, honey!

Olivia Rena you can put the record in an inner sleeve and then an outer sleeve. That’s what I do. You are actually damaging the record jacket overtime because of the pressure being added to give it that ringwear “circle” look around the jacket overtime. Something to think about, sugar

That sucks about your sounds good feels good record. Was that off ebay or discogs ? Looks like it got damaged in shipping. You could probably make a complaint age get some $ back. I don't think it looked like it was sealed. What the shipper should be doing in that case is taking the actual record out of the sleeve. That would avoid it breaking through during shipping. At least the vinyl looked ok! Hope you enjoy it!
