My sister Michelle was diagnosed with cancer 6 months ago and told she was the worst case the Doctor had ever seen and told she had 3 or 4 months to live. As she slowly faded, it was difficult for her to smile, to talk, or to do anything she used to do. After her diagnosis I found her playlist and saw this song was on it. For many years my sister struggled with a very challenging life. In high school she was not only really popular but she always accepted everyone and wanted to help those who needed it most and she had a bright smile. As an example of the type person she was, later she adopted three orphan siblings one if whom had AIDS, another was severely abused. Because she volunteered to take on a hard life in her efforts to help those who needed it most she got to the point where life was very hard for her even before her diagnosis. I think it was difficult for her to keep that smile and that hope she once had. You could say she literally wore out her life in serving others. A few months after the diagnosis she ended up passing away. The day before the funeral my other sister was on her Bluetooth when her call was disconnected and somehow it was calling Michelle. Michelle's line then picked up and it was playing this song from her playlist. Even though my sister was trying to hang up it wouldn't stop playing this song. I have no doubt she is brand new right now.

this song is absolutely amazing, it takes the things that most people hate about teenagersand put a positive spin on being an extroverted teenager who likes to dance, sing, fly, and does not care about what other people will think. a lot of the older generations don't like our spontaneous nature, but that is what keeps us alive and keeps us feeling like we are brand new.

this song just reminds me of summer and all the memories i have of summer when i was a kid. playing at the park with my friends, having fun at a water park, sunbathing on the cruise, and just having fun in general. it makes me so happy because it reminds me of the times i was happiest in my life - when i was so carefree and uplifted and having fun in the sun. thank you.
