Greetings, I loved the ribbon petals in the flower idea, and the beautiful tobacco basket as well as the hat centerpiece, I can see myself making one or all of these. But the paper bag stars are whimsical and magical~ my mind went crazy thinking of all the different size bags and designs that could be used to create these pinwheel type stars for celebrations and holidays.. As always, just when I thought it couldn't get better, you out did yourself! Shopping: Yard sale signs have begun to appear around here, all must be getting right with the world again~ I love them, I love shopping at them, I love talking to the sellers and digging for hidden treasures and finding things I didn't even know I was looking for~Have a sparkly day! Last year for the Fourth of July, l purchased individual sets of Red, White and Navy Blue Lunch Size paper bags from Amazon. My grandchildren and I made several stars in each individual color. Then I took three of each color and we glued them together alternating the red, white and blue bags. I took it a step further by adding Gold colored Tissue Paper pinched together and flattened at one end and glued it to the inside of each bag, so it would be protruding out about 6” to 8”. Making them look like “Star Bursts”. My three -year-old Grandson kept calling them, “Ploding Scars”! And I thought the way he pronounced the word “Pepperoni” was funny.
