Sister I'm 58 and I've had a easy bow maker since I was about 16 and I prefer your method for this Olympia bow they're beautiful you skipping the different sizes so you're getting the depth and fullness. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this because it's made my life easier. The problem I have with the EZ bow maker to have to twist it into your other loop twist it and they don't stay nice and twisted when you put them in a little notch. You know I love you dearly and consider you family since mine's all gone. You just the sweetest Soul I've had the pleasure to experience in my life. WOW!!! I’m used to freehanding my “Olivia’s Bows”. I learned from my Mother. Do you cover your wire in the middle? I ❤️❤️❤️ the notch you make and the fold over method rather than trying to “eyeball” each side to make sure they’re even. (sorry Mom). I love the 12” starting point, looping x 6 loops, the notches and how you make & add the 2 or 3 extra ribbon 🎀! My mom was a great fluffer lol. We used to decorate her tree with a bow topper and the 36” tails. I make over the top wreaths with WAYYYY more picks and add on’s than the ones you pay over $100 at Hobby Lobby. Then I attach an “Olivia Bow”. Dovetailing the ends and twisting the tails adds flair! The gold ribbon is how I make mine! Thank you for experimenting and giving me a more easy way to tie my bows! ❤️🎀❤️🎀❤️🎀🌲🌲🌲🌲 This will be my go-to video when I am learning your method! Thank you again! 😘

Your polka dot and strip double bow you made is amazingly beautiful! I used that glittery ribbon in silver. You are not kidding, I had glitter every where! The poor telephone repairman was at my house that day and when he left the poor guy had silver sprinkles on his face ... I had been making the bow on my counter and that is where he was working on our phone box! I hated to tell him...so I left he take a little Christmas sparkle home with him!

Oh my goodness Olivia!! When I watched you make a bow the very first time, I thought, oh wow how come everyone in the world doesn’t do it this simple, beautiful way?? Thank you so much for the tutorial and the specific step-by-step instructions, they make everything make perfect sense with perfect results!! I have a suggestion that you could try, when it comes to making that second tail on your Olivia bow. It’s something that I have tried while making your Olivia bow too, so I thought I would share it with you. Forgive me for the extra extra explanations, I just want to make sure everything is making sense!! So After you finish making all of your loops, how ever many, and let’s say you’re turning the ribbon towards the right, you would then take the bottom of the ribbon, the end that is still attached towards the spool, pull it up while going the opposite direction then you have been, (this is going to make sure that the pretty side is up) bring it underneath your stack of loops, grabbing it in your fingers and you know, go ahead and take your pipe cleaner and incorporate that part in with the pipe cleaner. OK so I hope this doesn’t confuse you; so now that loop that you just created “underneath” your regular loops, you will want to make that as big or as long as you want your tails to be. And the part that you bring up under the loops, is where you will want to cut the excess ribbon off at (this is going to be put in the area that you will be putting your pipe cleaner around, so make sure you leave it long enough to fit within your cleaner, but not too long that it will stick out or whatnot) then you will finish with the pipe cleaner at that point. Then you find the center on that bottom loop you just made, and cut it in the center, of course dovetailing those ends as well!! It’s basically doing the same thing that you are already doing, it just saves a few steps, I think!! Anyway, I hope I didn’t super confuse you with my extra extra step-by-step‘s!! I hope that you can make some use out of this once you make some sense out of my instructions!! My goodness Olivia, I am emotional right now, and just want to express my gratitude for your uplifting, beautiful spirit that you so readily share with everyone!! I cannot tell you how inspiring you are to me. You have created a monster, really, when it comes to me and crafting now!! I have a very serious mental illness, and very very mean siblings, which has left me in a very very dark place for the last several years. I have not decorated for Christmas or done anything to express any kind of beauty because I feel so yucky inside!! I have just been wallowing in this treacherous, negative world that I allowed those people to place me in. Once I began watching your videos, I thought to myself, well I could do that!! And so I started with a simple project, which are never simple when it comes to your wonderful amazing creations!! But you know what? Now I have so many wonderful projects that are just out rages Lee gorgeous!! I don’t know if this sounds weird or crazy to you, but just the “simple“ act of creating something after being inspired by you, has brought me some beauty back into my life and now I feel like I am expressing it a little more, a little at a time, through crafts!! I don’t want to load your shoulders down with the thought that you have the responsibility to continue to make such a huge impact in my life specifically, by telling you all of this!! I just want to point out the great positive impact that you have had in my life right now and try to convey to you just a small portion of my gratitude, so I thank you 🙏🏿 so much for your sweet spirit, your sweet kind encouraging words that you say, for your positivity about life and your kids and your husband and your friends!!! You have restored a bit of hope for all of that in my life too, for I had lost it all!! I actually was not planning on expressing all of this to you right now tonight. I just wanted to let you know about my suggestion, But look what happened!! Again thank you for inviting me into your beautiful wonderful creative home and helping me break out of that ugly awful shell I allowed myself to be in for so many years!! I am really going to attempt to find you on Facebook and share the creations that you inspired me to do on there!! Wish me luck with that!! Hehehee 🤪 merry Christmas 🎄🎁

Thank you so much for the video I felt so lost and unable to make a bow but you made it seem very easy and I did it I did not use a notch but next time I plan to use the Notch and I did practice with my Dollar Tree ribbon so thank you again and Merry Christmas
